On Monday I bottle fed my DD and after she started 'talking' and making a bit of noise and then she stated gagging and coughing, I picked her up over my shoulder and patted her back and she started puking loads and still coughing, I was terrified. She stopped and then seemed OK if a little upset.

I thought it was just a one off but then she did the exact same thing again yesterday  so today I'm terrified to feed her incase it happens again, I've fed her half a bottle and I'm a mess called DH in tears don't know what to do so scared it's going to happen again.

Not to give diagnoses but this sounds exactly like my friends son who had GERD to the T. I would see a Dr asap

Sounds scary.

If she's never had anything like this before, could she have a tummy bug?

Coughing and gagging are reflexes we use to stop ourselves choking on something, so I'd be worried if she started to be sick but didn't gag or cough and was silent and purple/blue as that would be a sign she couldn't get it out of her mouth and was choking.

It's happened a few times since but not as bad, It only happens after she's eaten which she sort of 'talks' and babbles then starts drooling loads some of it comes out of her mouth but I think
some must drip down her throat and cause her to gag and as she's just eaten it makes her sick.

I think she's teething as the last week she's drooling a lot more.
