Hi my hCG levels are 9,000 and I am 4 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound today, and i saw a gestational sac, but barely saw the baby, is this normal?

Totally normal I am surprised you saw anything on the ultrasound at all at 4 weeks to be honest.

I am not sure about the HCG levels, I am pretty sure mine were lower than that but baby brain has set in for me and I can't remember already.

4 weeks from conception or 4 weeks from your last period? If the 4 weeks if from your lmp your dates may be a few weeks off. Just my 2p.

Should I see more at a 4week ultrasound? I barely saw a baby, let alone a flutter. The tech said it is just very early. When I checked my dates I am about 4 weeks maybe

Most people don't see the baby for a few more weeks so you are either lucky or a few weeks further along then you think. If you are 4 weeks from conception then you seem right on schedule, the dr would call you 6 weeks though.

I think i was lucky too! I think it was conception, I was in the office around the 5th of august, with a suspected pregnacy, I had blood drawn and confirmed I was not pregnant, but then missed my period on the 14th of august, and found out I was pregnant. Had blood drawn again, which confirmed that I am pregnant, but based on the dates i have I can only be like 24 days pregnant?

That seems really high! At 5 weeks mine was 1163....lol I think you are more pregnant that what you think you are.

If you missed your period on the 14th of August you are about 6 weeks. Pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period and not from conception.

seems as if you may be further on then you think you are. good luck xxx

I had some checks done at 5 weeks due to some bleeding. My levels were approx 4000 then two days after approx 9000

dont stress luv! at 4 weeks my hcg was 56!!! luckily it went to 1000 the next week and is climbing, but your levels are more than ok!!

When I was 4+4 I had the same thing went for a scan and all that could be seen was the sac, but my HCG levels were 8235. They were worried it might be ectopic so took my levels again 2 days later and they were over 15,000! 7 days after my first scan i went for another scan and I had a baby with a heart beat (measuring at 5+5) HCG levels can vary so much that the actual number is not worth worrying about, it is the doubling rate that matters most.
