40+2 Midwife appointment

Morning, I have a midwife appointment today and I'm 40+2. What is she likely to do a sweep, leave me or refer me?

Last time I was induced at 39 +1 as baby was measuring small and I was already 3cm!!

I'm sorry, this is my first and I don't have any experience near birth yet. Where are you located? I imagine people do different things in different places, so if you let us know where you are it might make it easier for other ladies to answer.

Im 40+2 as well, got my midwife appointment tomorrow where she has arranged to do a sweep herself in the surgery tomorrow bit nervous but excited that it may make it a bit sooner to see my son! Hope it goes well for u let me know how u get on!

At my MW yesterday my OH asked her if she could do a sweep and she said not until your 40 weeks (I was 39+6!) so basically would have done one had my appointment been today! Anyway I'm booked for one on monday (40+5) so I'm sure if you asked they will try and do one if your cervix is favourable. Fingers crossed for u hun x
