Brandy - I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss hun, it sounds like you've been through so much. I can't believe the problems you've had with your Dr, but I think you are approaching it in the right way - bitterness and blame won't help you heal. I pray that you get your next bfp very soon, and know that your little angel is watching over you Xxxxxxxx

Does anyone know where I can get disposable briefs that will fit a UK size 22? I'm trying to get my hospital bag stuff together and can't find any at this size, even on the internet. They only seem to go up to size 18/20 (and even they have reviews that they are not big enough even for that size!).

I didn't use disposable briefs hun - I just took plenty of old pants with me and rinsed them out and hung them on the back of the bed to dry lol. I wouldn't have got through so many pairs if I didn't have a pee bag fitted which pushed my pants to one side and made me leak all the time lol. Just make sure you take plenty of maternity pads too - the boots ones are really good and they do a thin version as well as the normal padded ones.

Hi :hi:
Hope it is ok to just drop in :flower:

We have just decided to start trying for our second child. My first was a surprise :winkwink: and he is going to be 2 years old in May. I'm 25 years old and am a stay at home mum and (supposed to be) housewife - I'm not sure my housewifely duties are quite up to scratch though :winkwink: I now weigh a little more than I did when I got pregnant with my son and am a dress size bigger (22) so while we are trying I am also hoping to drop a few pounds - just to help things along.

We only decided the other day that we were going to go for it and since I am due on in a couple of days I'm not counting this month at all, so next months will be when we officially start working on Number 2!

Hi Williamsmum! Good luck with TTC - hope you don't have to wait too long xx

Are you in Derby itself or one of the suburbs? I live in Burton xx

starlit, im so happy for you! yay for team pink!!!!

i have a doc app because of some pain so hopefully if he does and ultrasoud i get to find out what team were on

Congrats for Team Pink Starlit :) Have you gone totally nuts buying pink stuff yet?!!! :)

Hope your scan goes well sma - fingers crossed baby plays ball so you can find out the sex.

I had my dating scan today, it was amazing - baby was stretching, kicking and doing headstands, lol :)

Apparently I was having Braxton Hicks contractions during the scan, which I was completely unaware of - I didn't even know you could have them this early?!!! So they took a while getting the measurements, but dated me at 13+1 - which exactly matches my dates. So official due date is 17th October :)

I was a bit worried they wouldn't be able to see clearly cos of my fat, lol, but I just pulled my tummy up a bit and they saw baby fine - even got a really clear picture :)

Still buzzing, lol :)

I have gone nuts looking at pink stuff and kind of figuring out what I want - but we have absolutely no room to keep baby things at our place, we need to move. :growlmad:
Plus, my mom is giving me a baby shower when I visit her in 3 weeks, and my MIL is giving me a baby shower when I get back from my trip! So we've decided to kind of... wait and see what we get :haha: before we go out buying.

I know we're going to get flooded in pink (which is lovely), but I would like to take stock of what we get and balance it with chocolate brown and black things.
Going for something kind of like this:

:happydance: Congrats on the girl, Starlit!

To be quite honest, I was a little hesitant about a girl at first. But now I'm so excited & I can't even imagine expecting a boy!! :haha:

I see this thread has slowed way down. :(

News on my end: First, something positive: I don't have gestational diabetes, hooray!

Now to be Debbie Downer. I've been away because my 31 year old brother unexpectedly passed away on April 3rd and I've been consumed by it. :nope: Very shocking and very, very, very sad and upsetting. I've never lost anyone close to me before and I find myself treading a line somewhere between grieving and trying to keep myself occupied with other things. I've found it very difficult to just let myself be as upset as I want to be because I'm constantly thinking about how I'm feeling affects my baby. It's been a rough couple of weeks to say the least.

I hope you all are well. :flower:

Oh sweetie I am so sorry to hear of your loss - I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling right now. Wanting to grieve but needing to stay positive and strong for your baby must be so difficult.

I'm already feeling a bit emotional because we have put Fran up to bed on her own for the first time tonight, but now I really feel the need to cry. Have a humongous hug from me love :hugs:
