Good luck 4magpies - how are you feeling about IVF? Sounds like a really positive step :)
And 10lbs doesn't sound too much - you can definately do that hun :D

Hope everyone else is doing well? I've had a total rollercoaster the last couple of days. After seeing our little baby waving around on the scan on Monday, I had a heavy bleed last night with a couple of clots :( Needless to say I was a wreck! DH was great and calmed me down etc, but I was so sure I was losing my little one.

We went straight to the Early Pregnancy Clinic this morning and had a scan, and there was baby - completely oblivious and wriggling around with a lovely little heartbeat :) I don't think I've ever felt so relieved!!!

So they did a few more checks to find the cause of the bleed and found I have an Ectropian Cervix. This means that some of the cells that are supposed to grow on the inside of my cervix are growing on the outside, meaning it leaves a raw area that is easily irritated and prone to bleeding. I did have this when I was in my late teens, but it settled itself - now it seems pregnancy has exacerbated it.

It is apparently totally harmless and poses no risk to baby, but means I will probably be prone to bleeds. Which is a pain, but at least I know that it is nothing to worry about anyway!!

Phew!!

They also got a more accurate measurement and put me at 10+3, so my EDD is now 17th of October. Although I still have my official dating scan in a couple of weeks :)

Glad everything checked out and your little one is snuggled in tight, Lara!

As for me? I'm in a state of constant disbelief, every little bit I realize that I am 4 months pregnant and... Wow.

Baby is somersaulting away and I can feel it often. Right now, for instance :happydance:

It must be so awesome to be able to feel baby!

I am glad things are okay Lara. It would terrify me if I started to spot at all, because that's never ended well for me.

4magpies...good luck!

I am quite excited and amused that we are gonna make a baby without even having sex! Lol.

xx

I found this pregnancy weeks to months converter & wanted to share it since there is always so much confusion about how many months along we are. :winkwink:

I'm nearly 23+6 which is 5.4 months pregnant. NOT 6 months pregnant as I've seen so many people on BnB exclaim. :haha:

Hi Girls

Just dropping by to see how you're all doing.

Hope everyone is good

Aaahhhhhhh very interesting! I'm always confusing myself when I try to think about how far along I am in months. Thanks for posting

Starlit - how amazing that you are feeling little one already! What did it feel like when you first felt it?!

Andie - I was pretty scared when I had the heavy bleed, so very relieved that all is well now. Hope things are going well with you?

v2007 - thanks for the encouragement

Kellar - good luck hun, really hope this is your month. Fingers crossed :)

Emmy - hope you're ok hun? Its not nice to fall out with a friend, hope you get it sorted. Great that you've ovulated though hun - hoping more than anything that you get your BFP hun :hugs:

AFM - still spotting, but feel ok with that now I know that baby isn't at risk. Next scan in 2 weeks - can't wait!!

:hugs: awwww that's really exciting, not long to wait until you see your little bean again hun

I've had a bit of a funny day, had a 3 hour nap, getting, twinges, stretchy pains and pops in my tummy, sore boobies, my favourite pasta sauce made me feel sicky earlier ... I'm scared I'm coming down with something :dohh:

 I'm keeping everything crossed that there's a bfp slipped in somewhere next week lol

I'm still a bit pessimistic though, can't quite believe that I'll be that lucky if that makes sense?

Thanks hun ...

I was wondering if you ladies could have a nosey at my chart and see what you think? Someone on the forum says it doesn't look like I've ovd because there isn't much difference in my temps (which I totally don't mind her saying because I'm fairly clueless with temping lol). Any extra advice would be greatly appreciated

When I first felt it, which was at about 15 weeks, it felt like tapping? From inside. And not regularily. Our baby is very active, so I'm thinking there's a lot of position-shifting going on so I don't feel it regularily.

Now, it generally feels like an over-and-over sweeping against the front? I don't know, it feels like somersaulting but I'm not sure.

Very hard to describe! But very cool. And interesting to note that it often happens when there is loud music around :haha:

Hi Ladies,

Emmy I took a look at your chart and from what I see I don't really see definate ovulation either did you get o cramps or a positive opk also do you have typical post o temps

Starlit that great that you're feeling the baby move already with my first I didn't notice him moving until I was 20 weeks because I thought I was having muscle spasms but it was baby I had been feeling it for weeks

Betty- how are you feeling and how is little francesca doing?

Thanks hun ...

Sorry but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to temping. I could never remember to do it first thing in the morning :dohh:
