Hello ladies, still lurking here. Should get my period any day now and am a little disappointed but I am ovulating so I will count my blessings. The cramps are a pain but oh well. Maybe next time.

I want to join please. My BMI is 44, currently waiting to find out if a private hospital will give me some kind of fertility help while I try and lose some weight. It will be really nice to talk to people in the same boat as me! Sometimes I feel so alone.

Welcome to the site, we was given a the fertility tests but for any procedures I had to be below 30bmi so i was on a strict diet.

I've recently got in contact with a private doctor who would be willing to help me despite my size. I only have two periods a year with my PCOS so TTC seems really ridiculous and pointless because I just never ovulate. On CD79 right now with no ov Do you have any problems at all, or any help to conceive?

Have they ever put you on the pill to try shorten your cycles?

Have they done bloods to find out if your ovulating?

Im glad you have someone who is willing to help here the drs wont help untill you have been trying 12-18 months

I was extremely lucky. I'd been on the depo for 4.5 years and was told it could take up to a year for my periods to return, but it took less than 2 months. And then when we started ttc I fell pregnant after about 5 months. I have to admit I was surprised at how quickly it all happened considering my weight and how long I'd been on the injection.

I really hope you get the help you need, I can't imagine how you must feel

We weren't trying but we haven't been particularly careful. We want babies close in age (because we're nuts) so we were planning on NTNP after another cycle or 2 (to get out of holiday baby range).

Hm..I'm not pregnant any more or TTC, but I still like this thread. It needs to be more active! It has the best ladies around!

So two weeks ago I had some weird brown spotting. I've never in my life had midcycle spotting before. It must have been ovulation spotting or something. I've been waiting for my second post-partum AF for a few days now, as I'm getting irritating cramps and I've been super dizzy. This is the part I miss most about being pregnant. I hate AF-time! (I'd think I was pregnant except DH "pulled out" & then used a condom, lol, TMI. Sorry!)
