Has anyone else lost weight during pregnancy? I've lost 16lbs since I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks. The nausea has been terrible and I can barely eat anything. Nausea started to ease off just before christmas, but then I got a vomiting bug. My appetite is still not back to normal and I've had more vomiting today

when i went to see my midwife at 16wks she said i had lost a little weight, nothing major, but as its recommended that i put on as little as poss she said it is a very good start.
I havent had very bad morning sickness, im sick once in the morning normally, before i eat anything then im fine. Iv gone off sweet foods though, i think thats why im losing weight because i will have mini cheddars, or some fruit for my snacks instead of a choccie bar

I had my first OB appointment today. I admitted to gaining 10 pounds already and the nurse didn't even scold me! She just said "Well, no biggie, you can always lose it afterward." I couldn't believe it!

Yeah, but yikes on the 10 pounds. Stupid holidays & stupid lack of willpower. I figure the good part is I likely won't gain anymore weight for a while so they should be pleased when I haven't gained at my 16 week appointment. At least I still weigh 70 pounds less than I did 15 months ago.

When I was pregnant with Alec, I gained almost all of my weight in the first trimester and only a little after that. I had that kind of MS that ONLY went away when eating, so I hate all of the time, plus I'd been on a highly calorie restricted diet right before I got pregnant, so the pounds really piled on. I'm talking, like 25 pounds in 1st tri.

If I'm ever blessed again, I'm going to be soooo much more careful!

You 2 ladies with sore boobs have me excited! I normally had slightly sore boobs between ov & af & I got those right before my bfp but that soreness didn't even come close to comparing to the boob pain I got @ about 4.5-5 weeks pregnant. Ouch! And on & off since then. Dh keeps making fun of me because apparently I yell "Ouch! My boob!" waaaayyyy too loudly and way too many times a day.


mustanglove -- how's your bump coming along?

I'm telling my supervisor tomorrow. I'm scared & excited at the same time. She has a 2.5 year old son so she pretty much has to understand. I think she'll be *really* excited, actually. I have 3 more appointments the rest of this month, though! I had my 9 week today -- I pushed it back for insurance purposes, then I have my 12 week appt Thursday, then an elective sex determination ultrasound on 1/24, and then my 16 week appt 1/31. Yikes! I tried to schedule them 1st thing in the morning or as late as possible in the afternoon so I'll miss as little work as possible but I'll still be missing about 1.5-2 hours for each appointment.

On top of the soreness in my BBs today, I swear they are bigger. I'm wearing the same bra as yesterday and it's not my favourite - usually the cups are just a bit big (and they do that annoying thing where you can see the edge of the cup through your shirt....) but today?
The cups are full. And dH mentioned they looked bigger before I got dressed this morning, he's *ahem* rather pleased...

LittleSpy, I'm being very careful with these sore things stuck to my front and I keep have to remind dH to be gentle (he rests his arm on my shoulder while driving and his hand is over my BB - of course the more-sore one!)

Hey littlespy! I've been wondering how you were holding up. My bump is coming along very VERY slowly. I can tell I'm getting bigger but I have that stupid "B" shape going on, so it's hard for others to tell I'm preggers.

You've got a busy month, huh? I'm having a gender scan on 1/27. Do you have any "feelings" about what you are having? I'm feeling boy vibes for me.

Hey Brandy, have you ever heard of softcups? The first cycle I used them was the one I got my BFP! You put it in after you are done bd'ing and I guess the idea is that they keep the swimmers closer to your cervix. I kept it in overnight. Just thought I'd mention them! GL hun
