Hello all,

Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of weeks - been so busy over Christmas and New Year!! I'm afraid I do tend to dip in and out of BnB a bit as due to my job I do travel quite a lot. But I love reading up on how everyone is doing and will continue to post when I can if that is ok with you ladies?!!

I was outraged to read the original thread that SoonToBeMum had posted, firstly outraged at the inital post about the Consultant, but even more so at the replies of a couple of people. I can't believe how patronising and unsupportive they were. I'm glad Emmy put you in touch with this thread - there are plenty of lovely ladies here that will be very supportive.

I'm glad to read that the Mustang and LittleSpy and doing well - anyone heard from BigBetty recently?

Sorry to hear about the recent AFs that have shown up. And babydust to those in the 2ww.

I am CD25 today so AF due any day really. The only thing that has been weird for me is that over the last day or so my boobs have been really itchy!! Kept waking me up last night, and actually changed my PJs at 4am as was so uncomfortable. They are also pretty tender, but that is normal for me when AF is due.

I'm not getting my hopes up, as have done that too often only to be disappointed. I'll test on Saturday if AF hasn't shown.

hey ladies i got my pos opk today, i wish it had been yesterday though because now i have to go stay with a friend for awhile due to an emergency last night with her. so i will be away from OH and thats hard enough for me but not getting to BD on the time we need to makes it worse. im going to tell him i need some before i leave lol. i dont know if i will be able to get online or not but i will lake my lap top with me

thanks hun, tbh i think that some people are just very opinionated, its not the first time i have seen replies like that from people on here, so im not taking it to heart, im just assuming thats the type of person they are!

itchy boobs are a good sign, right at the start mine used to itch whenever they rubbed against something (so near enough 24/7 unless i was having a bath!)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while ladies - thought I would pop in with a quick update!

As most of you are probably aware I have had a few growth scans because the one at 32wks showed LO measuring a bit small. Well she had a major growth spurt and caught up by the time we had the next one 2 wks later - and boy could I feel the difference!!!!

My consultant was much happier and booked me in for another scan in 4wks just to check on her progress - and I had it today.

Well she is growing very nicely and now weighs around 7lb 1oz. The consultant and midwife were very pleased with how my whole pregnancy has gone and called it perfect - so big smiles for me and DH as we walked out!!

I can't believe I've only got 11 days til my due date - the time is flying by so quickly but on the other hand not quickly enough because I just want to meet her now lol!!!

They decided I don't need to be seen at the hospital again before I go into labour so I have my (fingers crossed) last 2 appointments booked with the midwife at my doctors surgery.

I also FINALLY look pregnant!!! Going to get DH to take a couple of bump pics and I will post them here to show you. I'm starting to get that "waddle" going on too as she starts to drop lower lol.

So now all I can do is wait for the onset of labour!!!!

I don't know how many dpo I am, if I've even ovulated at all. But my cm has gone from clear to like a milky white colour, lots of it and very tacky

I've been very emotional, bursting into tears over the silliest of things like someone having my flake dessert thing from the fridge (over reaction I know), and looking at comments from my dad on some of my piccies on facebook before he died is setting me off too

And then on top of that, I've got tummy cramps, just a sharp pain in my lady area headache, sore throat ... just feeling generally

Really hope it's a good sign

Has anyone else lost weight during pregnancy? I've lost 16lbs since I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks. The nausea has been terrible and I can barely eat anything. Nausea started to ease off just before christmas, but then I got a vomiting bug. My appetite is still not back to normal and I've had more vomiting today

I had pretty bad m/s up until about 22/23wks and have had acid and heartburn pretty much the whole way through. I also just haven't been able to eat as much as I used to and this combination means I have lost 3 stone since getting my bfp!

My baby has grown very nicely and as such there hasn't been any concern about my weight loss - the doctors and midwives' have all just congratulated me when I've mentioned it lol.

I feel much better for it though - I was 20stone 6lbs before getting pregnant so there was plenty for me to get rid of lol.

Oooh bigbetty, 11 days till due date how exciting!!!

As far as me - boobs are still sore! If I wasn't charting, I'd expect AF tomorrow. When I had sore boobs in my post-BCP cycle they disappeared the day before I expected AF, so we'll see...

I go away for 2 nights tomorrow. Longest ill have ever been away from oh.

I lost 3.5lbs this week. Not so many to go now. Lol.

Thanks love, I hope that itchy boobs are a good sign - I've never had it before. But then, a lot of the symptoms I've had whilst TTC have been new to me - I guess you just pay more attention to your body when you are constantly checking for 'signs'!! LOL!! I have been a bit itchy all over, so hope I haven't got bed bugs or anything - haha!! I don't have a rash or anything though, pretty strange so we'll see. No sign of AF yet anyways.

I don't know when to test I have no idea how many dpo I am, but am sure I ovd last week

I've got lots and lots of white cm (I'm so sorry for tmi), which is slightly stretchy. Still getting cramps in my tummy and it feels like a pressure. I'm very scared that my body's playing nasty tricks on me

Our bodies seem to be very good at playing nasty tricks, I certainly know how you feel about not getting your hopes up. It must be frustrating not knowing how many dpo you are, I don't know exactly but can guess as I'm lucky to have pretty regular cycles - give or take a day or two.

Perhaps take a test two weeks after your suspected ov date??

Jan 25th would be when af is next due, but I've got a feeling if I haven't got my bfp, then it'll turn up sooner because I've been taking soy the past 2 cycles. No idea how I'll manage waiting that long

haha, tell me about it! before i done a test i had a feeling i was pregnant for about 2-3 days before, but because of my dads wedding i didnt have time to test, and i think my body started making up symptoms, like i felt sick, boobs hurt..the whole shabbang basically, and then once i had a positive test they all disappeared

Mustanglove -- nope, I have zero intuition about whether I'm having a boy or a girl. First I felt very boy, then very girl, so now I just admit I have absolutely no idea at all. It's killing dh & me not knowing though so that's why we have such an early sex u/s. I really don't even care, I just want to know. Apparently, I'm a bit of a control freak.

Telling my supervisor (which lead to the immediate telling of all the people in my department ) went really really well. She was super excited -- squealed & then jumped up to hug me. Then she shared the news with everyone else which I didn't really mind. All day she was coming by my office to offer me 2nd hand baby stuff which is awesome because we have pretty much nothing except the cradle & crib I slept in as a baby and a few random articles of clothing we've collected over the last 2 months. So, we could use lots of stuff & I'm definitely not too good to accept free 2nd hand stuff!

SoonToBeMum - I think that is so funny all your syptoms disappeared when you got your BFP. Just shows what the power of the mind can do hey?!! I sometimes think I will myself to have symptoms because I want it so much!!! Truth is, some pregnant women get loads of symptoms and some get none at all - and there is no way of knowing which one you are until it happens!!

Little Spy - glad things are going well for you. When is your dating scan? You must be so excited

Soooo.... If I wasn't charting, I'd have expected AF to arrive this morning. Normally I'm a sleep-straight-through-till-7am girl, but when AF arrives my body generally wakes me up between 4:30-5am (which is great - has saved a few pairs of panties!).
So this morning I woke up at 5am and got up, thinking "Ah, AF is here. Bummer."

But... nothing.
Nothing!

Tomorrow is when my chart says AF will arrive. My boobs are still sore and my tummy is a bit odd.

O.O testing tomorrow if AF doesn't arrive!
