Because, see, this was my 1st BFP at 11dpo.

Edit: I know the picture name says 12dpo but that's because FF had my O date a day off. Apparently my temp spikes the day I O and not the day after. But who knows really since baby has been measuring a few days big the last couple of ultrasounds. Probably because mommy's a good eater.

I'm 13 weeks along today! Can't even believe it - a whole week and two days have disappeared from my pregnancy! I have an appointment with a nurse practitioner this afternoon, to make up for my missed 12-week appointment.

Oh! And TM and I decided yesterday that we'll be finding out if we should buy pink or blue things at the next ultrasound! So excited!!!!

It took me 1 cycle of trying to get pregnant (we had about half a cycle of ntnp before that).

I had lost 80 pounds from September 2009-September 2010 (conceived in October 2010). I was hovering around 195lbs (at 5'4.5") when I got my BFP. I wasn't losing weight to TTC though. I just lost weight as a lovely side effect of living a much healthier & more active lifestyle.

We tossed the birth control in August and caught the egg in December I'm about 235-240lbs, btw.
I didn't try to lose weight before, as I know that I'm healthy - my blood pressure is good, I eat well, I have no health problems at all
And now I'm 13 weeks along with my darling baby!

I didn't try to lose weight, but I did start eating healthily. It soon went out of the window and I actually put a stone on before getting my bfp - I was the heaviest I had ever been at 20stone 6lbs lol!

After coming off the depo it only took a month for my periods to come back and 6 months to get pregnant once we started ttc

I lost 3.5stones during my pregnancy though and feel much better for it - I'm trying to keep going now!!!

Thank you ladies,thats reasuring . Congratulations and well done to all of you! I'm trying to lose a bit of weight to help when I am pregnant and to help ttc..if it will make any difference?
I didnt take long at all to get regular cycles after being on the pill for 8 years, and I think I ovulate reg, but was just wondering how everyone else got on.
We've not been trying long but fx'd it wont take long

It might still be a bit too early to tell love. Don't forget you can get a false negative but not a false positive! Have you tried a clear blue digi?

When I got my bfp I first tested on a cheap strip test a bit like the one in your pic - I got a pack of 2 from poundland! When the line came up it was so faint I thought I might be imagining it!!!

4magpies -- I think those IC tests are more sensitive that First Response. I got my positive on one of those and 2 days later when I finally did a First Response, the line was still VERY light, but it was much much much darker on the IC strip I did with the same pee.

i was getting very dark lines on my IC but when i went to the doc to have it done 3 days later it was so faint on theres they had to pass it around and get more eyes to see it. there test and FRER are supposed to be about the same but i dont think so. i think as long as u look at the IC in the time frame and theres even a faint line its a bfp. i would say keep testing with ICs
