I never though I’d find myself trying for a baby st 42 but I guess that’s what happens when you marry a man 10 years younger. :D

We’ve haven’t prevented now in 2 years and nothing happened now until last month when we were shocked to find 2 pink lines. Unfortunately we lost that bean at 5+1. Normal hcg that morning but progesterone was almost non-existant. I’m also overweight, but thankfully very healthy. I eat fairly well. I have hypothyroidism and have had for 15 years but it’s well controlled.

So we’ve decided to go it our best shot for a few months and if it doesn’t work, we’ll start preventing.

I’m armed with enough progesterone cream for 3 months. And have the insertables on hand in case of bfp.

Very proud of my old body today to give me this awesome opk on cd 14.

Hope to get to know you all.

Hi there - I am in the UK so we don't get offered much on the NHS. I went to see a consultant last week for blood testing but that is all they do here really! Have tested and BFN again so think i will just need to try again next cycle x Fingers crossed for you.

Hello, I am 42 as well. This is our first cycle TTC. I am taking prenatals, evening primrose oil, folic acid and COQ10. I will be 43 in March and do not want to try TTC over a year. AF ended today. Will track my temp and track Ovulation. My husband just had his vasectomy-reversal. So we will see how it goes, the next 3 months. Baby Dust to you all.

I'm 42, also have one child who is 10 years old. We have been on a ttc break after the last loss, but back on the wagon, so to speak. This will be our first ttc cycle since December 2016.

Good luck with your ttc journey.

Good luck! You are brave woman! My mom had me at 39 and she always say to me that it was hell of a journey to be pregnant after 30s.
