Yesterday was the worst day, we lost our baby, most likely just after our last healthy scan seeing baby with heartbeat
My OH is devastated as this was his first. He was so excited. He is a brilliant step dad to DD1 and we really want a sibling to make our family complete. I feel numb at the minute but my way of coping is to be active and keep busy. We're trying to remain positive and discussed ttc as soon as we're able to, and hopefully we'll get our rainbow baby soon
This, however is the 4th miscarriage I've gone through over the course of 17 years
I don't know if there is an underlying factor or whether it's just sheer bad luck. I have PCOS but I would say it's mild and because I already have a daughter I don't really think that's affecting anything as I have no problem conceiving. But we're both not getting any younger either and I feel time is not on our side.
I am booked to see my GP on Friday to get a referral for further investigations. Not sure what this will involve though or if it will answer any questions.
