4th month of clomid, could I have ov early?????

Hi Ladies,
I have been taking clomid for 4 months now and I am on cd 13 and had a positive OV test on CD8???? Is this possible??? The test was a early pregnancy test.com strip and the line was the same color as the control line. The only reason I took a test that early was because I felt like I was ovulating (cramping, EWC, couldn't leave hubby alone). We have been trying for 2 years now, and I want it so bad.

I think I replied to this elsewhere but you get positive opks soon after finishing the pills. I always found my ovulation was later than normal but I got positive opks from cd8-12 which were false. Good luck.X

Don't you have follicle tracking scans to monitor this? Or blood test?
This is a positive ovulation test, which means that you must be ovulating early. It happens.

I have pretty much been on my own with just using opk testing and checking my cm. My new insurance doesn't cover infertility and we don't have the money to pay up front, I just wanted some advise from someone that is going thru the same thing.......

I would say that if you get a positive i would definatley get your oh in the bedroom and just keep at it until the opk's go back to negative! You never know what your bodies doing so just go with what you feel.

I too am on clomid and yes you tend to O prior to what all the calculators say. With clomid you O about 5-10 days after your last pill. I too get the O pains and cramps for like 2 days and thats how I know when I am ovulating. to you!

Thanks for the advise, I am also on Metformin I take 325mg 3xday. I day that I got my positive opk was 2 days after my last pill of clomid. I took them days 3-7... I am suppose to be ovulating on the 10th according to an online calander, and I kinda feel that I might, but who knows. We are making sure bding is happening atleast everyother day just to make sure I don't miss.. Good luck to you. Keep me posted and I will you........
