5 Days Late for AF - Not Sure About the Results of this Clear Blue

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and need some extra eyes...I am planning to wait until the end of this week to do another test.

Some of the symptoms I have been having have been sore boobs, feeling like AF is there when indeed it has not come yet, peeing all the time, sore lower back, cramping a feeling like someone has twisted my insides.

And these results - this showed up within 10 minutes of doing the test not in the first 2-3 but closer the 10 minute waiting period.

I have included the picture and a photo negative to see the lines better...

This test is weird! there shouldnt be a horizontal line only a vertical! anyway as it happens the line that shows if the test has been taken properly is there and there IS a blue vertical line in the hcg test part.... so i would deffo say its a positive!
I don't use expensive tests i buy cheap ones and they tend to be more accurate than more expensive ones. my previous pregnancy showed a negative on a clear blue test and a positive on a very cheap test from the local supermarket!
i would go buy another test just to put your mind at rest but by the looks of things i would like to say " congratulations "

I'd test with another brand, get a fr or something hun because some women have had problems with the blue dye tests...

But it's looking good if it was within the 10 mins....

Vixta, it's supposed to be a + if preg hun

This same thing happened to me and I told everyone I was pregnant and then AF came and ruined my life. I have learned since then to only test with pink dye tests and not the blue. The blue dye tests are known for bleeding a little. Good luck, it still could be a positive.

Like everybody else has said, I would retest with another brand, either a digital or one with pink dye. I've had evaps that looked like that with the blue dye where the verticle line is thin like that. i say re-test so there is no confusion. But I do think if it came up within 10 minutes its promising.

get a pink dye test, but it looks positive to me - congrats!!!

That looks promising to me. I would go and buy a First Response or a CB digital and then you will know for sure! Good luck.
