Hi everyone, I had a concern and was hoping if the moms in here could give me some insight. I found out I was pregnant 2 days before Christmas. I am one of the lucky ones who conceived right after getting off the bc pills. I went to something similar to planned parenthood to get the pregnancy test done. They did it twice and it was both positive but the line is faint. They said my hormone level is probably low but I am pregnant. They said I am around 4.5 weeks pregnant. I started having pelvic pain Christmas eve that felt like severe menstrual cramping on and off but lived through it until monday afternoon where I couldnt take it any longer. When I went to the urgent care they said I was running a fever and referred me to the ER. At the ER they performed several tests on me, incluing the blood test for the hcg level. I was taken in for an ultrasound but the tech couldnt find anything, afterwards she said "You tested positive for pregnany?" Back to my room, the doc said my hcg level is low its only 43. He asked me if my dates are correct, I said yes because I keep track of my menstrual dates. Now I am due for another hcg blood test tomorrow to see if the number doubles. Ladies, what do you think is possibly going on? Do you think I could've conceived later than expected. Based on what the ER doc said, I'm pretty confused now, I dont know how far along I am. Based on my LSM, I am 5 weeks pregnant by now, but why is my hcg level so low? I hope you can share your inputs. Thanks! Happy New Year!
