My husband is a vet and i made him look at them. I know its not as good as an OB looking at them but since dogs have lots of puppies hes good at counting babies haha. He said the reason the doctor didnt say anything in the ER is because at this stage it is impossible to tell whether or not they are babies or cysts....youll only know by seeing if they all 3 grew the same rate by the next ultrasound.

However if he was going to guess he would guess 2, he said the bottom picture with all the spots in it looks to him like the one thats lowest looks more like a cyst but it could very well be a baby.
There is def. atleast 2 though! and he said there very well could still be 3

Actually I asked the ER nurse practistioner (sp) if there were any cyst thinking she would say something about the corpus luthen (sp) cyst that sustains the progestrone. I did not specify if I was asking about my overys or not though but she said there were not any which kinda of confused me cause i was planning on hearing about the corpus cyst. However on the report it says there was a 9.9mm cyst on my left overy so that has to be it but I was wondering why she did not say anything to me about it.

The 9.9 mm cyst might not be a corpus cyst but could be a different type of ovarian cyst. :shrugs: It depends on the make up of the cyst. It is odd they didn't mention much about it, but that is a pretty small cyst size so perhaps the they aren't worried about it.

I just wanted to let you know that I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and the heartbeat was only 93, and they told me that was a little low and I worried all week, but after a week the heart rate went up to 128, so I hope the same happens for you. Good luck, I hope that your little one holds on!!
