5 year old yellow/grey colour poo, pain and gas!

Hi everyone.

My daughter suffered as a baby/toddler with yellow poo every now and then. She is now 5 and a week ago had a diarrhea bout which lasted only a few hours. Since then, she has had one or two yellow coloured loose poos and has a tummy ache on and off. The tummy ache is usually accompanied by pungent wind and then she is back to herself again. That said, she is not 'herself' in that she seems more lethargic and clingy.

Has anyone experienced this before, particularly the pain with gas?

I am due to take her to my GP this week (I called NHS 111 today and after going through their assessment chart, they figured the GP is best).

We stopped all dairy today and noticed her poo was slightly grey/white ish this evening before bed.

Just wanted to get other parents' experiences with this as I am worried it's being going on for a while (8 days now). She has lost so much weight.

Go to docs if poo is grey or white and avoid dairy.
Gas can be painful and if it's a bug then will probably smell eggy/sulphury x
