I went to the ER Sunday for some cramping and minor spotting. They did an ultrasound and only saw a 5 mm gestational sac. They said I may not even be 5 weeks. It just scared me to death but I soon learned that seeing only a gestational sac at this time is perfectly normal. Good luck!

My hcg was around 2900. Besides that, they just did a complete blood count. They didn't test my progesterone or anything like that. That's the last time I had bloodwork done. I went in today because of some spotting and they finally saw the baby and the heartbeat. Everything looked good.

Yeah, just 6 weeks. My doctor and myself were a little shocked to see a heartbeat so early but very excited!

Ive been for a scan today at 5+1 dont have a pic as they wouldnt give me one but all that could be seen was pregnancy sac, yolk and she said she was 80% sure she could see a fetal pole but wouldnt say 100%

well I saw baby and hb...hb was 104bpm but I am having a problem with my HCG levels rising properly...

Hi, I have just been for my dating scan as I have PCOS and only know I had my LMP in February but not sure when...so had to be scanned as quickly as possible to determine dates. Well I am just 5 weeks and 3 days along and they were only expecting to see the Gestational sac, but after she pointed out the sac she zoomed in and said that she could see my baby and then she saw a pulsing movemet too....yes you could actually see the heartbeat....this was all too much for me....I just burst into tears...Soooo precious!!!!
