Isla is 7 months old but not much has changed since she was 6 months. I'm not huge on routine but a typical day (when my OH is working a day shift so it is just Isla and I alone all day) would go something like this:
7/7:30 am - wake, breastfeed, diaper change, get dressed
8 am - breakfast (usually toast with nut butter and/or scrambled eggs and maybe some fruit)
8:30 - 9/9:30 am - play time while I clean up the kitchen, feed the dog, etc.
9:30 - 11 - breastfeed then 1.5 hr nap
11 - 11:30 am lunch (raw or lightly steamed veggies, maybe some pasta or toast, or bits of whatever I am eating)
11:30 - 1:30 - Isla goes in the hiking pack and we drive to a trail to take the dog for a walk/hike
1:30 - 2 pm - play
2 - 3:30 pm - breastfeed and 1.5 hr nap
3:30 - 5:30 pm - swimming, or a run with Isla in the jogging stroller, or we go play at the park and have a picnic, or play with toys outside in the yard, or a play date with a friend, etc. Usually some sort of outdoor activity.
5:30 - 6 pm - supper (usually similar to what we had for lunch)
6 - 7 pm - Isla either plays with her toys, or if she is grumpy she goes in the ergo while I vacuum or do the laundry or some other chore around the house.
7 pm - bath, massage, pyjamas on, story, breastfeed
7:30 pm - asleep
There are sometimes other breastfeeds interspersed throughout the day, but those would be the minimum amounts that I would breastfeed her.
Things go a bit differently when she is teething and has 3-4 45 min naps rather than two 1.5 hr naps, but the above above would be an "ideal" typical day. There's a lot more indoor playing on days when it rains, and on those days I feel like I'm going insane!
