6 weeks 5 days pregnant but bleeding ?

hey ladies would love some advice please
well i am 6weeks and 5 days pregnant with my 2nd child .... the thing thats worring me is yesterday i was at my friends and around 8.30pm i had back ach ... so anyway when i got home i went to toilet for a wee but when i wiped i had bright red blood with tiny tiny dark clots and stringy blood it covered the whole toilet paper it looked like a period so i put a pad on ... but about hour later i checked the pad and it only had pale pale watery blood but didnt look like blood so i wiped to make sure i wernt still bleeding but unfortantly i was its was more then before when i wiped red and dark blood (sorry tmi ) i checked another 2 times after that and was the same
also woke up and 5am and was still the same when i wiped ........but the day when av woken there is no blood at all when i wipe

has anyone exsperienced this or have any advice what it could be? i think i could be having a miscarriage

ps: ( i carnt book a doctors app till monday when there open and its only saturday )

As long as you are not cramping then I don't think you are miscarrying. It might be old blood, but the only way you can be sure is by having an US. If you are really worried and if the bleeding continues then its best to go to A&E.

Anything is possible. I have only spotted in my pregnancies that ended in miscarriage (and sometimes I didn't even spot when the baby's hearts had already stopped bleeding). I've never spotted in my successful pregnancies. So for me, spotting was never okay, and I would never let a doctor just tell me not to worry about spotting. BUT, I have also heard many stories about women who spotted or even bled more heavily throughout their pregnancies and still went on to deliver healthy babies, so all hope is not lost. My point is that I would ask for an ultrasound, HCG and progesterone level ASAP on Monday. Don't let them tell you not to worry as long as you are not cramping or bleeding heavily--my bleeding with my miscarriages was always light and without cramping for the first several days.

I experienced the very same thing and only bled for 24 hours. I went to Docs and he booked me for a scan. I also had mild cramping. The scan showed a heartbeat at 6+4 weeks and the bleed was obvious on the scan, it was adjacent to the egg sack so nothing to worry about. Just make sure your doc books you in for a scan asap. Best of luck!

as i said in my 1st post the bleedin had stop .... but just went to toilet and wipped and there was loads of brown blood then wiped again and it bright red again this time a bigger clot came on toilet paper it was a tiny bit smaller then a 1p and it was in side a clear cloudy round mucus kind of thing

I know you know that going to the docs will be best but I have had some bleeding too, I had a bfp, 3 days later bleeding and now 2 bfns so think I've had a chemical ..... what i'm trying to get at is maybe for now, until docs is open, is take another test? x

I've had a little bit of spotting over the last few days. My GP wasn't too concerned. I also called our local maternity ward and spoke to a midwife who advised that spotting is more common than people realise and not to panic unless it became heavy bleeding or I had any pains. I am off for more blood tests this week and an ultrasound in 2 weeks.

Im bleeding when i wipe too, im sorry but have no advice but i know how worried you are, im 7 week tomorrow and goin for another scan but im not hopeful. As soon as you can get booked in nor a scan. My fingers are crossed for you x

I don't get why anyone says not to worry if you bleed, it's not normal and shouldn't be ignored. With both miscarriages I bled but felt no pain for a week or more, I didn't even bleed much, was mostly brown not heavy but I had miscarried. I will say I have also bled in a healthy pregnancy but it was different as I stopped bleeding as quick as it started! I still went for a scan though. If im honest it doesn't sound good, but sometimes it does happen and women go on to have a baby! I know all to well how it feels to be told "don't worry it's normal to bleed as long as there's no cramping" and then go for my scan with hope only to be told baby had died. I desperately hope your kr having a miscarriage as no1 deserves it. I'm thinking of u!

Hey thanks 4 reply I got my bfp 3 weeks ago nd now bleeding but only wen I wipe. Am sorry to here bout u and hope u get anutha bfp very soon this is my 2nd preg nd my 1st preg went perfect but every preg is difrent ... How long were u bleedinh for nd was it a lot x

Am sorry to here that bout u too please update when you get your scan .. How long you been bleeding for. Am goin to ring docs the morro and I will update fingers crosed for us both x

I'd go to a and e first thing. They can take blood, check cervix is closed and book a scan. I lost my baby last wed at 7 weeks. Started bleeding out of nowhere on tues, started like a period. Best to get checked out and wish u all the best

I also have bleed mostly when I wiped since week 6, I am at week 10 as of tomorrow and baby is doing great so far. doctor does not give me an answer about were the blood is really coming from, he says my cervix is closed and not to worry to much. I cannot wait for second trimester. I hope you and your baby are okay and do give us an update.

Hi, well I did another test this morning and it was a bfn so definately a chemcial ....... I only bled for 2 days, period like bleeding and no cramp or clots! It happened straight after dtd so put it down to that but I have done loads of tests since then and not one is coming up pos anymore! ...... have heard that spotting when you wipe can be nothing to worry about ..... Just keep an eye on it i suppose?

We are trying for our 2nd too, I found out I was pg with Tom when I was 11 weeks gone so there was no early day stress! x

I'm still bleeding a bit now. Last tues and we'd felt like mild period pains/pressure and the blood was mostly when I wiped or sat on the loo with tiny clots in. Then thurs and fri was about twice as painful as period with very big clots. Last few days have been intermittent. But all in all not as horrible as I thought

Hey, I haven't read what everyone else had wrote so I may repeat (there was just so many bahaha)
But with my first pregnancy I bled like you described, I soaked right through my underwear and pants and had to throw them out -- I got checked out as I was worried and was told everything was fine and it was just implantation bleeding where the Placenta connects itself My son is now a vair healthy 4 month old.

I am now 11 weeks pregnant and had bleeding again with this pregnancy -
I was told that this time it was different I bled more this time with clots and went to the hospital to get checked out
I was told that there is currently a tear in my placenta ):
There was a 50% chance I would miscarry -- Went back for a check up and the tear has healed up a lot -- I was told to stay on bed rest and that my % of miscarriage has decreased So I've been taking it easy
My advice to you being in both those scenarios would be to bring yourself to emerge to get checked out.
You're the momma and I always say if you have ANY concerns at all that you get them checked out.
I know wait time is a real bummer there - but I feel like it's always better to be safe than sorry -- If there is something going on you should know all about it and what you can do.

hi hun , well am afraid to say i think i have had a miscarriage i started getting really bad cramp pains a bit worse then period and when i stood up a felt something and a had blood all over ... so went to toilet and it just come out loads blood i had clots so big it felt like was getting stuck and i had to push out sorry tmi i hav had for blood clots in 1 hour and i av never seen clots so big ...iv changed my pad 3 times in just over 2 hour before hand i just bled when i wipe now its just coming a way loads the cramp has nw stopped but bleeding a bit more then a period thanks fr replying xx
