This is my first pregnancy and I am shocked at how big I feel already! My breasts are already out of my bra and this morning I couldn't button my pants! I called my mom who told me its bloating. Is anyone else having this problem?!?

I was in the same boat around 6 weeks, but sadly, it never went away, and Ive popped and I had to go up a pant size and buy a belly band. It was worth it! Ive even gone up a full cup size by 7 weeks and bought a new bra to be more comfortable. If I try to stuff them in my normal bras, its painful. I say invest in a belly band. I spent $16 on mine. Greatest thing ever. Not only that, but yoga pants LMAO

I'm absolutely going to buy a belly band and a new bra this weekend! I'm going to be the size of a house by 6 months :) I will be really happy when I see an actual bump though!

I know some of mine is still bloat because in the morning its smaller, but I have a bump down low, and by evening, my whole stomach looks round LOL. With my son I was huge. my daughter not as big, so in hoping I can manage to keep it in between and not get that large, but I doubt it. :haha:

My breasts are a cup size up but I loosen the back buckle and they mostly stay in.

As for pants...I lost two pant sizes before getting pregnant...at 7w2d I'm back in my fat pants and they are tight some days. Bloat is the worst!!!

On the bright side: yay baby! And yay body for responding to the baby! In the end, all the discomfort will have been worth it.

I couldn't fit in my pants anymore at 6 weeks. And now I'm 8 weeks and I feel huge already. I definitely look way pregnant. It's bloat (and I think a bit of constipation) and I imagine it will get better, but comfy pants are the way to go.

I'm also having tons of bloat. I feel giant, but I don't think I look any different yet. I typically lounge around in elastic banded shorts all day anyway, so I haven't had difficulty buttoning. I'm sure the joke's going to be on me in the Fall, though. :haha:

i'll be 8 weeks this friday and cannot fit in my pants either....stupid bloat! by the end of the day, i feel like i look 6 months pregnant! wish it was a really bump instead

I am going to be 11 weeks on Saturday and I feel like a house...I have been having problems fitting into clothes since about 7 weeks and 5 days...I broke down and bought maternity clothes last week, its nice to know that I am not alone..Right now its mostly bloat but I know eventually its going to turn into a bump I am just not sure when lol

Get your bella bands on eBay... They're super cheap and you can buy multi color packs! I got 3 and love mine!

I have also been going through this. My DH swears I don't look much different but NOTHING fits the same anymore (if at all.) I bought a belly band and a couple pairs of maternity pants around 6 weeks... best thing ever! Unfortunately at work I wear scrubs and I have been told that my boss will provide maternity scrubs for me but I have yet to ask for them and my scrub pants are sooo uncomfortable.

I think it is mostly bloat and maybe a little shifting of things.

I feel like a fat bloated cow already!! My scrub pants aren't even fitting me anymore and I'm only 5+1. I know some is bloat, but it's not all bloat.

I'm so hearing all of this. I'm already thinking... Great, it's Friday tomorrow and I have to try and find something to hide this gut... (i'd say tummy, but that word seems too cute for what I am feeling right now). To be honest, I'd forgotten about my belly band that I have packed away from my last pregnancy. Thanks for the reminder... Now... Just something to hide the rest of it! Lol

I was back in maternity bras by six weeks, the girls were escaping from my regular bra and it's not like they were small to begin with, on the plus side DH looks like a kid in a candy shop! I got a pooch tummy at about the same time and it hasn't gone away, I actually look as pregnant now as I did at 23 weeks last time (I still hadn't really popped) and am in maternity trousers and skirts. I haven't resorted to bump bands yet because I've managed to use over bump stuff mainly, but I'll be digging them out over the weekend so I can wear some of the prettier stuff I have.

I second eBay for cheapish stuff, I got two maternity shirts for 99p (£2.50 postage) last week, I'll probably need bigger ones for later on, but I'm happy getting 2nd hand for now, I also picked up a lovely Mamas & Papas dress for £5, never worn and has a belt so it can be worn without a bump too!

I'm only 4 and a half weeks and my trousers are so uncomfortable :( I need something more comfy, I have leggings etc but it's freezing in my office at the moment so I'm persevering with the jeans, but feel like they're squashing the baby!!! Roll on this weekend for maternity clothes buying!!

I'm also going to go shopping this weekend and at least get a few pairs of comfy maternity pants! It'll will be nice to breathe again. And, I'm happy I'm not the only one feeling this way. I'm going to make an effort the next few days to cut out all salt so maybe that will help a little. I know it's so cliche, but all I've been eating is pickles and sunflower seeds!
