7 dpo and implantation bleeding ?

ok so killing time and now I am re thinking some thing..here it is..Ok i was using opk's to detect ovulation it surged on 18th of Jan. websites say after the surge is when you really ovulate is this true? And if so does that mean I am not 13dpo but less dpo days? Ugh this is way more thinking then when I was younger lol. Had five kids oldest turning 18 this year and those pregnancys just happened no planning. I always had a period even when my tubes were tied and normaly a all around health person. Oh and another question I have is do you always get a period two weeks after you ovulate?

I used OPK and first positive was am on 17th. 16th was questionable pos. I temp so that showed ov on 17th. That makes me 14dpo today. OPK shows a LH surge which means you should ov with the next 36 hours. The only way to know when you ov is by temp. So you could be less than 13dpo. after ov is your lutinizing phase that is supposed to be 14 days long. Longer cycles are becuase of a later ov. So I have read...

I have never had any gyn issues either. I have 2 things against me and that's age and overweight. Hoping neither is a factor.

My youngest is turning 18 this year.

Have you had your FSH level checked? I wonder if it is my age playing a role in this to but before my surgery they tested my fsh levels ( to see if I was even still fertile) and said everything was fine.

Its so hard watching them go and start there own life at that age my oldest is already inrolled at a college 1500miles away and even though we talk and we help her out i miss seeing her and so used to having her around You feel not complete but so proud of them at the same time. Does your oldest have any plans for college? My second want to get into marine biology..a little odd since i never really hear her talk about that as being an interist before but there young and have so many options lol.

I have had nothing tested. This is my first month TTC. I figured I'd see how things went. I did have some hormone levels checked a few years ago to see if that was contributing to my lack of sex drive but they were normal. Turns out I just didn't like my now ex husband ! Lol

My oldest is in Florida. Almost 20 with a 2 month old. He did not finish high school and works for a tree company. My daughter is almost 18 is looking at local schools for dental hygiene. My DB has 3 ages 8-10-14 so we have a little time before they hit the going away stage,except that they are only with us half time.

Both are very good fields to be in for the oldest kido's. How do the kids feel about you guys wanting another little one ? Mine are being pretty supportive and it is also our first together. My kids are from previous marriage also but there dad isnt involved he pretty much cut the ties and didnt want anything to do with them since they was little. Exspecialy since our one little boy who is now 12 has spinal muscular atrophy type 1&2 mix. It was a genetic thing where we matched up identically gene wise , but the girls dont have it nor even carry the gene. Doctors say it seems to affect males more but I have seen on sma website there are little girls as well. Just the same wouldnt trade him for the world ;-) ( sorry if my spellings off..lol)

To be honest, we haven't told any of them yet. DB experienced mc's with his first wife, so I think he is being cautious. We have talked about babies and shown lots of pictures of my granddaughter and there are very excited about her even though they haven't met her. There have been a couple of stray comments that have seemingly went over their heads. I am sure they are going to be excited though.
My daughter has always wanted me to have a baby since she was little, but I didn't want to go there again with her father. There is also a hereditary factor there-he has Charcot Marie Tooth Syndrome which is a form of MD. It shows up in males and is passed on my females, so my daughter may be a carrier. Anyway, now with her age i don't think she would be as excited, but she is also at a point to go out on her own almost so....

I haven't heard of that before I will have to check it out, good info to know if males carry it does the gene get more dominant with age? Also called the doc yesterday since I didn't hear anything and she still hasn't got the results yet but had cramps yesterday again and this morning seen a bit of pink when I wiped so guess I found out my own way I am not pg.. lol..on to next month...and if it's my period then it's kinda early this month. Going to the store to stock up on opks.. lol

Yes. Af showed for me this am full on. She wasn't even going to be sneaky about it. I'm upset. I feel like I shouldn't be. Only month 1 and so many on here have months and years of bfn's. Also now i will have a due date after my 40th bday. Oh well. Nothing more I can do except start over.

I might try a supplement. Do you need pre-seed if you have enough cm? We have never needed a lubricant before.

No I don't really need it but heard it makes the sperm swim faster lol and got hubby on zinc vitamins so his count goes up to plus it's good for him. I figure any little bit helps, ordered the pre-seed today so should be here by the time I am of period. Yeah mine got heavy as the day went and bad cramps to go with so feel pretty suck but at least this is giving me time to gear up for the next go around. I bought my pre-seed off Amazon was $10.00 bucks cheaper. And figure now I really have to watch when I will ovulate since period showed earlier.

My doc that did the reversal said it wouldn't hurt to start early on them. Other then those I don't really take anything else. Have you heard of anything other girls are using?

sorry you felt so bad yesterday-i did too...actually took something last night for the cramps which is unusual-couldnt get to sleep
I switched to prenatals about 3 months ago as the plan has been to start in january. I have been loosing weight and excercising. i was worried that that was throwing things off until i got pos opk and temps

i am going to hold off on fertile aid. it already has most of prenatal in it and i think you stop taking after ov, so by the time it arrives it wont be worth it.

i hear alot about acupuncture. i have one for my back i can see about going to for this if needed.

also i told my chiropractor and he explained how it helps increase the blood flow and nerves to the inner organs so i should definitly continue. i see him once a month-go back on the 9th.

Is that you in your profile pic? You look about my size if so. I think i read something aout acupuncher as well but the needle thing kinda freaks me out lol. Not to big on taking meds either at least just yet, I am always scared of side effects on everything. Why do you go to see a chiropractor?

No that is my daughter and son and his daughter.
I was afraid of acupuncture but my back was so bad at one point it was a last resort before surgery. It worked. I go for "tune up" as needed. I have lower back problems and this past year had neck too. Sometimes this getting old thing sucks lol

I think preseed helps with neutralizing the acidic environment in the cervix as well, this is where most of the spermies get trapped. We have tried preseed this month, the first month of "proper use" up to now we were using it as a lube.
