7 month old chokes on all finger food

Hi ladies

My DD is 7 and a half months and she can not eat ANY finger food! I have started her on the jars with lumps in and she is ok with these she gags a little but any finger food she chokes (not gags) on everything! I have tried banana, toast, cheese and the 7 month Heinz biscuits!
Any advise or is she not ready yet?

Chokes or gags? There is a difference. Gagging is normal.

She's chokes! Her face goes red and her eyes get really wide! So scary!!!

We got a silicone feeder for lo.
U put food in it and bub can suck and bite it to get food out of the holes.
Also maybe try little baby rice cakes .
They tend to be easy eat.
Tgey break up really easily

Could she have a tongue tie ? I have been looking into it as I think DS might have one which is making breastfeeding uncomfortable and one of the issues is chocking on solids.
