Just after a bit of advice...

In the last week we have had 2 days where we've been out and about all day and LO has ended up going a really long time between breastfeeds. He is very easily distracted normally if I try to feed him when out but now he just outright refuses any offerings when there's other stuff going on! Yesterday for example, he had a feed at nap time around 9.30am. He then had lunch (solids, very little as BLW and most is squished/ played with/ chucked on floor) at about 12pm. I offered him a BF before we left at 12.30ish but he wasn't interested (he normally has it about 1). He then went until we got home and he had woken up (fell asleep in car on the way home) at 4pm til he fed again! So that was 61/2 hours!! He normally feeds roughly every 3 hours, even overnight so this is a very long time for him!

Is this normal/ healthy? Is it ok as long as it is just every now and then? Should I limit how many days we are out and about like that? Also, should I try to offer him water on days that he is not feeding as much?

Thanks for any advice!!

This is happening to us too! But he makes up for it at night. If its been a long time and he's not showing any interest I find a quiet dark room and try there. Sometimes it works and sometimes he's too busy giggling at shadows LOL
