While I understand children do things in their own time I can't help but be a bit concerned that our son is still not babbling at all - no baba, dada, gaga - nothing. He is very social - he squeals, shreiks, laughs, blow raspberries (sometimes) and yells in a variety of pitches but no consonents.
Also no copying - I try to mimic him sometimes and then give him a chance to mimic me and he never does at all (in any way) - he just smiles at me. We read tonnes of books, we talk to him all day, we sing songs, we go to baby lap time (sing time) at the library every week.....?
Does anyone know if its too early to worry? Thoughts?
