7 week scan thursday......terrifired

im so scared about scan on thursday I'm so scared not to see a heartbear it's all i seem to be thinking about, am i likely to see a heartbeat at 7 weeks? I read about ladies who say it was to early for them to see a heartbeat but surely you should be able to see one at 7 weeks

I had an early scan at 6w6d, and could clearly see the little white flicker of the heartbeat. I hope that this will be the case for yourself.

I just noticed we are due the same day...

I have my second scan on Tuesday. I was six weeks by dates when I had the first, but they thought I was five weeks, which fits with when I think I ovulated, so I have to go back for another one. I will be 6+5 then. I have to admit to being slightly worried that I was a week behind last time due to a problem, but I am trying to tell myself I am being silly.

I can't help now, but I'll post after my scan on Tuesday. I am hoping to see the heartbeat. The days are going sooooo slowly until then.

Good luck hun. I went last thursday for my first scan. I was 6+6 by LMP but I thought I was closer to 6 by ovulation. I measured 6+3 and there was a little flickering heartbeat xxx

Good luck on Thursday, my scan was to be Thursday but brought forward to today. i'm terrified but OH's boss has been really nice and let him take time off to be with me. I'll be 6w6d today going by LMP but midwife still thinks I wont see a heartbeat as it's too early (

hi babyattempt3, did u see ur baby today ?? wen i had my scan i was 6+5 and i didn't see a baby yet, just a sac yolk and fetal pole beating.. how did it go ?? good news :O) hope so xx

Hi gemstone - no I didn't see a baby or a heartbeat but there is a sac and what looked like a pole. I have a large blood clot which causing the bleeding so the scan wasn't clear at all. The sonographer was having a hard time so had to get a second opinion and had to do an internal scan as well as external. The external actually showed up clearer due to all the mess inside at the moment. I've to go back on Monday for a second scan so hopefully baby grows more by then. They doen test on my urine and all the levels to indicate pregnancy are very high. I got told off for thinking the worst lol
