7 weeks PP: Period and Tampons...

So its 7 weeks post pregnancy and I finally got my period. I used tampons for 15 years of my life never used pads. When I inserted my tampon it hurt, around the opening of my vagina felt like it was scaping it raw. And it just over all feels uncomfortable in it. Has anyone experience this and did it resolve after a few months...Maybe its too early too start using them I dont know....I also heard that ppl cant wear them after they have a child because they fall out....Its only been in for about 10 min so Ill keep posted on that part but I couldnt imagine wearing pads forever...eeekk

I just got mine at 9 weeks pp and I'm too much of a chicken at the moment for tampons because I had an episiotomy and tore pretty good. If I remember correctly didn't you tear really bad? That could explain the soreness, hopefully it goes away soon

Ya I had a 3rd degree tear.... Lol it's getting better now but maybe I should have waited another month... I just hate pads, always seems spook messy

I agree with hating pads! I much prefer tampons, I was tempted to use them this cycle but chickened out lol
