Yesterday my husband and I went out to dinner with his family. When we got home my throat felt a little sore. It was bearable when i went to bed and then i woke up in the middle of the night sick to my stomach and my throat was excruciating. It hurts so bad to swallow i want to scream and i can't eat anything but soup. Even eating soup hurts. Its not a scratchy sore either it feel swollen like there is a raw lump un my throat and it is only on the left side.

I have to go to the doctor and get this dealt with but i am a little concerned because it is to early to tell if i am pregnant yet since i am only 7dpo. If i am sick it could affect the baby and if i go on antibiotics it could hurt the baby. i don't know what to do.
What do you think? Could this maybe be related to implantation?
I have a history of strep throat but i haven't gotten it since i was in 6th grade, but I'm thinking that might be what this is or maybe its an infections. Wother way it could hurt a baby or would i be ok because it is only 7dpo?

If you are sick go to the Dr, I am pretty sure the cord isn't attached until six Weeks and if you are only day seven you may not have even had implantation yet. Especially go if you think it is strep throat, that can be serious if left untreated.

Thank you. I ended up going to the hospital sunday because it got so bad. They think its strep throat so i am on antibiotics. Its makes me feel better knowing that the cord isn't attached for a while.
