8 DPO, HCG 2.2...Questions...

It is 6 weeks after my mmc...

HCG last Monday: 3.3
HCG this Monday: 2.3

I O'd 8 days ago...when I called for my HCG number, the tech mentioned it didn't go down as much as it should have. She also mentioned that according to other bloodwork I had (non pregnant) my normal HCG level is .5. She thought I should doing a preg test in a few days.

So...looking for some thoughts:
1) Is my HCG not going down appropriately?
2) Is it legitimate that it could have gone down and I may be on my way up again?

hunny i dnt mean to contradict ur medical professionals or anything but iv been here the same as u, a neg reading of HCG should be 5mlu or LOWER so 2.2 is perfect for a neg result, also just coz u were at 5 b4 doesnt mean that ur 2.2 is now a prob, the fact u ovulated means that both ur hcg and progesterone are back down again which would mean ur testing neg for pregnancy.
i do hope i havent confused u or upset u but from what u write everything sounds fine even for it to go up the 0.1 it did is normal anything upto 5mlu is neg dont panic huns let hope u ahve a new sticky beany
