8 weeks to go!

This is it. The last stretch! 11 Feb is babies birthday! Gyni visits every 2nd week now. Still in complete awe of my body growing and accommodating this little munchkin! Counting the stretch marks, watching this belly button get smaller and smaller LOL. Nervous as anything about the c section but just as excited to meet her!

Wow hun, you are like a c section pro! Just kidding hun. It's exciting and daunting at the same time. I find my belly has really popped within the last 2 weeks or so. I feel huge lol. U too?

Hi hun. Phew im ready to be done baking too but enjoying my last weeks. Iv got 3 weeks to go til c section but with the preeclampsia gynae says we take it day by day. Luckily its stable for now. We are having heat waves here again and it's SAVAGE..just sit in pool all day lol!
Omw u are in the home stretch girl. Its sooo exciting! Hoping it going to be super speedy for you and u get to hold your bumblebee by the evening.

Monday night is cervidil (cervix softener) which apparently COULD send me into labor, but it's likely I will get pitocin the next day. We will see! I'm just hoping I can push her out and don't end up with a c-section after all that fuss.

Just read your post, ah love im so sorry you are battered and bruised, nevermind having a tough birth. Good grief i wish i could offer a huge hug in person right now!! (Have u tried witch hazel for the hems? Use a spray bottle every time u go wee, spritz the hem. It helps mine a load..cant believe we have to deal with this too)
Iv been having contractions today. So im feet up and resting which seems to help. They have slowed down a mile. If she wants to come sooner im game. Ill be roaring to hospital in a blink if they come on stronger. Gynae is aware, so im glad hes on stand by too.

Just read your post, ah love im so sorry you are battered and bruised, nevermind having a tough birth. Good grief i wish i could offer a huge hug in person right now!! (Have u tried witch hazel for the hems? Use a spray bottle every time u go wee, spritz the hem. It helps mine a load..cant believe we have to deal with this too)

How are you doing? Did you end up having to go to the hospital?

My milk finally came today so I was able to give her one real meal instead of formula. I have a weigh-in appointment on Monday because she's lost a little more than she should. Hopefully we can reverse that trend soon.

Latching still isn't much fun and I think we bigger boobed girls have extra b-feeding challenges.

Ah so glad the witch hazel pads have helped a little. Gosh hun nobody knows the struggles of new mamas. Hope it all heals up super soon. Rest up and be as slow as a turtle...
Yay to booby milk in! Gosh yes us big boob girls have a whole other challenge! Im hoping and praying i can get bub to latch and feed. Nervous about that!
I didnt go into hospital. All calmed down. Providing i dont stand too long or overdo it. Im sure gynae will ask for update on Monday. I feel like asking him to move my csection up a week now. Lol!
