8 weeks...

I had an early scan yesterday, and the woman who did it said, "they don't have arms and legs at this stage"

And yet every ticker/web page says they have little webbed toes by this stage! Who's right? So confused...

I think they have little plates at that stage, and the pinkies and tootsies are just forming at the ends

My understanding is that they look like a gummy bear with short stubby nubs . . . in week 9-10 they lengthen and the fingers become more defined.

I could be wrong. It's different for every baby too

i had a scan today at 8 weeks 3 days and could see tiny arm and leg buds,looks a bit like a teddy bear!,so not fully developed but definately limbs starting.

Thanks for the replies! We couldn't see much but the comment made me a tad confused need to post the pic from the scan now!

Hey Little Boo. I had my 8week scan yesterday as well. I think the best part for me was being able to listen to the heartbeat. I will try to post my scan pics tomorrow but the arms and legs do look like little stumps.

Same with heartbeat my OH looked like he was about to cry bless him!
