I am exactly 5+1 today, confirmed by my O symptoms, betas, and by a gestational sac size that measures absolutely spot on for 5+1. My OB didn't remark on this during my u/s today, but I noticed that there was no yolk sac visible in the gestational sac when he brought it up on the screen. Everything I've read online says that by the time the sac is 8mm, a yolk sac should be visible on transvaginal ultrasound (the u/s today was transvaginal).
I was wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this situation, or has read anything different from what I've read? Is it possible to have an 8mm sac and no yolk, but to go on with a healthy pregnancy?
