9 days late, 2 BFNs - Now what? :(

Any news?

Did a test this morning and got BFN. This was the first time my hubby was around when I was testing and also the first time he was actually thinking there was a real possibility of pregnancy (he thought I tested too early the other times) so he was disappointed and I felt sorry for him. I really felt sure it would be negative though. I have absolutely no symptoms (although I'm still very hungry but maybe I'm just getting greedy or something!). Now I'm just getting fed up and want AF to come so I can get back to normality!!!!!

Was there not even the faintest of lines? Took mine 10 mins to show up and very faint :-s

Sorry to hear you got BFN :(

Thanks Miel. I've had feelings like AF is coming for days now. Then last night I had the tiniest spot of faint pink blood before going to bed. And then in bed I had bad cramping for hours. I was actually feeling very relieved because I though AF was finally here, and although that means no baby, I felt that at least I had an answer. The cramps were so bad, I was expecting heavy AF this morning... but... nothing! I am really surprised and now I don't know what's going on!!

I think you need to make an appointment to see the docs, at least you´ll find out what´s going on for sure XX

i was in a similiar situation to you the second month of ttc, at that point i didn't realise my af's were irregular so i thought i was 10 days late when AF finally arrives, just worked out that i was irregular in the end. Hope you get your bfp hun esp with you having regular AF's x

Hi Louise

I am feeling you! I am 48 days late and still don't feel like anything is coming! did a test last saturday and was negative. I went to doc on monday and he was pretty useless to be honest just said to wait until my period came and to try and relax! the thing is I am a really relaxed person so felt really upset when left the surgery still not feeling the wiser! Went to reflexology on Tuesday night and my lady tried to balance my well being so hopefully AF will come if not am not sure what to do!!

you might find it easier going to the docs and he/she might be more sympathetic than mine

I know how u feeling hun is bloody annoying you just want :witch: to come so at least you know what your body is doing and get on with it!

sorry for long essay :dohh:

keep your chin up :)

It's good to know I'm not alone!! It's horrible isn't it? And I'm not too sure about going to the doctor because I've had a bad experience there before (not to do with this) where I found my doctor not very understanding and I left feeling worse than before I went.

I just don't think I have anything to tell a doctor... I don't have any unusual symptoms that would be a cause for concern. So like you, I don't think they would be able to help me at all, other than tell me just to wait.

Well, today I'm getting cramps most of the time so I think AF will be here today or tomorrow. This is a new thing for me though because I never used to get cramps until after I'd actually got AF but maybe I've just changed! :dohh:

Hi Louise,

I hope you are feeling better. It must be frustrating having to wait for AF after about two weeks! I hope things resolve themselves for you soon.

Unfortunately some doctors don't really understand how you feel with something like this. Mine gave me an envelope telling me when AF arrives to count 21 days and then get a blood test! I guess the only thing, and I know how hard it is, is to try and just chill catch up with some girlies and have a large glass of red wine - did that last night with a pal and feel great today trying not to think about it and hope it sorts itself out am day 49 now! not too sure how long to wait for it to come?! the doctor wasn't that helpful! The only thing I was wondering was if periods are so irregular you actually don't know when you are Oing could it be possible.....? too many questions not enough answers

keep your chin up bab! :hugs:

Well, as suspected, AF has now arrived. Ouch it's such a painful, heavy one! :( But I'm feeling pretty relieved and ready to get on with things. Now that I know I can go from 33 days to 46, I've decided that as soon as AF is over we are BDing EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!! I told hubby - he looked worried!! LOL!! I'm going to exercise every day, relax, not freak out about possible symptoms (yeah right), and not test until I'm really really late (yeah right)!!! Well, those are my intentions anyway.

I really hope you get your answer soon Spartacus. Let us know what happens. xxx

Hey Louise

Glad to hear for your own sanity that AF arrived and make sure you have lots of fun trying as soon as AF has finished :) am sure that mine is on its way soon just annoying it is taking ages!

Have a good weekend xx
