Hi Sewergrrl,
Thank you for giving us nervous biddies something to laugh about.

You're almost 17 weeks, already. Are you going to find out your baby's gender? If so, when?

ROFL! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing! :D

Ferne, the tech at 12 weeks said she thought girl, but I find out for sure on the 26th. :)

SG,

I can't wait to find out. Does your daughter know about your pregnancy? If so, does she have a preference?

My daughter is around your daughter's age, I believe. She's 3.5 years. She doesn't know I'm pregnant.

In September, her preschool's theme for that month was "Families." She learned about family structure and, most importantly, siblings. Since then she's asked for a little sister or an older sister on more than a few occasions.

When I ask her if she'd like a little brother, she answers, simply, "Nope."

Hope is 3 (b-day 06/23) and she knows about the baby. :) She is SOOOOO excited! She changes her mind every time she's asked if she wants a baby brother or sister, so I really don't think she has a true preference. For a few weeks, she was determined to name the baby Max (of Max & Ruby fame, the Nick Jr. cartoon), then she liked Cash (I assume Johnny Cash), but now she has been stuck on baby Hiney Butt for a while. Wouldn't that be a lovely name? :haha:

It's funny how kids get their heart set on something and are so matter of fact. :)

Hiney Butt now there's a name I hadn't thought of!! x

I love Hiney Butt and it works for a boy or a girl. Too cute.
