Hi everyone,

I have been lurking in this forum since I discovered it and was pregnant with my baby girl Jada. She's now 5 months 2 weeks old and oh-sooooo beautiful. I was scared at first when I discovered that I was pregnant, being single and coming from a religious family. Glad to say I'm happier now than ever and family and friends have been fantastic.

Babyandbump has been a godsend and though I never signed up, I found myself logging in everyday. So yes, it's confirmed, I am an addict now and enjoy reading your posts everyday. Now that I'm a member I can't wait to contribute too.

BTW, I'm 37, first-time mom, non-practicing pharmacist enjoying being a SAHM for my girl. Will eventually return to work when I can finally let go of her, just not just yet. Hopefully she'll be going to nursery school. So right now have a few things up my sleeve which may make an income for us to be together these first few years. Besides the internet, I enjoy cooking, reading , music and taking long walks and breathing in fresh air.
