I waited far too long to join a pregnancy forum. I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and hoping that labor will come soon. But I am really excited about getting advice from mothers who have travelled this road before me because even though I am currently helping to raise my husband's 2 and 1/2 year old, this is my first pregnancy. So without further ado, here is some info about me.

Short Personal Description: I have a 2 yr old stepson who takes up most of my time. Even though he actually lives with his real mother, he spends 4 to 5 days a week here and because my husband is working and i am not, my stepson spends most of his time with me. We are all very excited about the new baby girl who is coming very soon, hopefully. However, because I am the only woman around due to the fact that my mother and my husband's mother are both deceased, I really need more support and encouragement from people who understand.

Also, I just want to say thank you in advance to anyone who gives me advice or encouragement because believe me, I NEED IT.

after watching my wife spend hrs responding and reading posts on another baby site i started to get a wee bit jealous, jk. i've been looking for forums that seemed to be a little more open to the presence of expectant fathers and this seemed to be the most active. other dad centered sites had month long gaps between entries..i guess us gents don't like to talk much.
anway...i've have been so anxious to share the excitment of this process to fatherhood and look forward to hearing/talking with others about the shock, terror, insanity, beauty, fun and love that comes along woth pregnancy.
