I'm new to these forums... hope I'm posting in the correct areas.

I only read a few introduction posts before adding mine and I didn't see any American moms (or moms to be) and you guys are all so young!

My age: 39

Married 4 years

I have a little boy who will be 3 in August.

I've had 2 miscarriages, one ending at 7.4 weeks and the other at 9.5 weeks. The second one we had testing done that revealed chromosomal problems. Doctor told me it was an issue with a third #13.

Hobbies: going out to eat, movies, love taking the dogs (I have 7 pomeranians) for walks, we have a house in Mexico where we weekend every other month or so, I love going to music class with my son, I also take him to swim lessons, to the park to feed ducks, and I love family get-togethers. And I love baking!!!

I am currently working for my dad part time; he just started a financial consulting business. I stay home half days with my son and I bake cupcakes for birthdays, showers, weddings, etc. on the weekends.

I have lots of fertility questions that so far I have not found answers to online, pharmaceutical companies, doctors, etc. It is so frustrating!!!

I hope I can vent and get answers here at this forum.

Books: No so much books as authors. I love Terry Pratchett and Daniel Handler (especially when he writes as Lemony Snicket). Love a good crime fiction too, and plain old fantasy ... who am I kidding, i'll read anything with a decent enough plot that entertains me.

Movies: The Butterfly Effect, the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Stardust, Bee Movie, Antz, The Princess and the Frog ... yeah.

TV Shows: Engrenages, anything nature related, quite a few of the BBC dramas such as The Crimson Petal and the White, Morse, Poirot, On The Buses and, dare I say it, even a bit of Emmerdale when the mood strikes!

Hello everyone.

My name is bridgett.

I am TTC.. During my first pregnancy I lost my baby at 9wks. So after the long wait were ready to try again.. Well weve been trying since Feb now. And all ive got to say is "WHEW" it will ware you out emotianally trying and trying and trying. So I sign up to BNB for some support systems, and to just talk to otehr women who may be going through the same thing as me. Lets face it husbands are great but they just dont understand alot of the time..

I work from home as a secratary for wells fargo,make ready, and five star.. And love it (LOTS OF PAPER WORK). I believe its the perfect start while ttc so if i do i wont have any worries..

I love children i do ALOT of babysitting in my spare time. Im in a military town so people are always needing a Nanny 911 =). Ive been doing it since i was 16.. Kids have been my passion since i could remember.

My mom told me a story about me when i was about 5..

We were in the aisle "frozen foods" to be exact.. And i tuggd at my mom and look up at her and said "mom i think i know what i want to be when i grow up" "a mom just like you" My mom said she laughed so hard and askd me why. She said i had told her because i want to love something with all my heart like u.. lol

Well till this day, its still true.. Im partied out, ive been all over the world, married, dont have much of a social life anymore, and most of all im over wanting what I WANT. Ive got all i need and im happy and content.. Now im ready for my precious angel to get here. Raising a child is such a special gift god allows us to do as parents.

Just got a BFP 6DPO in the first month of trying. To be honest I am completely shocked, because I was sure it'll take us few months based on other women's experiences.

We're supe excited aobut this. We've been preparing to TTC for about a year- getting everything in order, check ups, vaccines, nutrition, fitness, dental work- and May 4th was supposed to be my first Ovulation. We did Shettle's method for a girl and since my O came 1 day late ( 5th), I was sure that was too late for the sperm to still there.

I guess I was wrong.

I'm 26, Hubby is 41, both extremely health and fit vegetarians. We own 2 businesses that we work at together. We've been married for 8 years and up until last year didn't think we were ready for kids yet.
It all changed around Feb of 2010 when we decided it was time and started our preparations before we start TTC. You can read all about preparations here.

Now I am staring at my positive HPT and can't believe how awesome it is.
