Where do I start? It's been a long journey to get here!
My child's father and I had been together for two years when we decided to TTC, and after that was a long year of trying, all to no avail. He desperately wants a child, and he thinks that I'm infertile and instead of going to a fertility clinic, he dumped me for a younger girl who already has a child.
Anyway, two months later, I miss a period. I know, I know, you're thinking "wait, you should have missed the next one?"...usually. And I was very curious about this missed period since I hadn't had sex in two months!
So, I schedule an appointment with my OB, who does a pregnancy test which turns out pregnant! I was excited, but a little weirded out...So she does an ultrasound, and lo and behold, I'm 9 weeks along, roughly.
So here it is, five weeks later and I'm 14 weeks into this amazing experience, and I believe I'm beginning to feel flutters!!!!
I'm so excited!!
So, when I told the baby's father, he of course wanted me back...But I told him that I think he'd better not break the heart of the little girl who'd grown attached to him and called him 'daddy', and stay in his current relationship and raise their little family..Me and my baby would be fine!
So yes, a tiny bit bittersweet, but overall for the better, I think!
And everyday I love this little child growing inside me even more and sometimes I stop and think "I never knew I could love someone this much, with every bit of my being."

Okay, where to start...Well my DH and I recently got married however we have been together for almost 2 years. We each have a child from a previous relationship; his is almost 6, mine is almost 4 (eesh!). And we have one angel baby together that we lost in February of this year.
We are TTC now, hoping that the miscarriage wasn't a sign that I can't have any more. I go to the Dr. this month for another ultrasound so see if my ovarian cyst has gone away. So here's hoping for lots of baby dust!

soo I have 3 kids oldest is 17 middle is 10 youngest is 7 . My husband and I recently decided to give it one more try but Im not sure hwo long that will last. Our 1st one was back in highschool when your not trying lol. The other 2 were through many months of trying and then discovering I had PCOS and used 1 cycle each of clomid. So this past week we gave it a try 2 days before ovulation with the chance of it happening and now we are just waiting to see, if God has another child in the cards for our family. So the waiting game begins I will be very dissapointed but have a glimmer of faith.

Firstly welcome to BumpAndBaby, I hope you enjoy your membership here & take up the full advantage of online support from those who are currently or have previously been in your footsteps.

My OH & I were silently trying for a baby with the impression I was actually infertile but we carried on with life at a normal pace knowing there was help out there & we were referred to the infertility clinic.

In January 2006 I experienced a rather unusual period started with spotting to nothing to what I believed was my normal menstrual period which then followed by spotting so much to my surprise a friend advised me to do a pregnancy test. My heart was pounding so much my OH could feel & probably hear it. We were so happy but sadly a bit blind to trying to conceive & pregnancy in general. In brief we can only describe the outcome as a horrific ectopic ordeal.

I became wiser to trying to conceive, pregnancy in general, testing & charting & have since discovered that we are both very fertile & have confirmed 4 known pregnancies since our ectopic sadly all ending before 5 weeks.

I have found much support on the internet over this last 6 months & I have opened this forum with all the best intentions hoping there are other girls out there who reach to us as a community for support & encouragement.

I’m also very proud to have [name removed] involved who holds the same warm hearted intentions as me & of course my partner who has been making this forum what it is today with many features arriving that he hopes will benefit you all on your journey. He’s been working pretty hard bless him, some of his hard work is behind the scenes but I can say he knows how much a community like us can help other women & men out there so well done him (love you very much).

I would also like to say a thank you to Imi-Maddie's-Mum (who has helped in a huge way) & Arcanegirl who have agreed to be apart of the team & who I feel will help this community grow & grow with a friendly smile along the way.
