Hello Everyone, I decided to join this site rather than just stalking it every month. I am trying to conceive baby #3. I have two beautiful girls who are 5 and 8. We decided in January we wanted a third. I am 33 and my Dh is 37. I was hoping to be preggo before now but no such luck. I have a bicournate (sp?) uterus and I guess maybe that has something to do with it. My first pregnancy was rough but she is happy and healthy. I am very active with the girls school and with our Church. I work 8-20 hrs a week for the school system and hold many positions at Church. I love reading this site and look forward to being part of a group that knows what I am going through. I love to see all the positive posts!

Hi Ladies! My name is Candace ... and I have no idea what I'm doing here! New to the forums, not so new to pregnancy and motherhood. I'm 29, my DH is a 'bit' older at 40, and we're fast approaching our 10th wedding anniversary. We are blessed with four pretty awesome kiddos and I love my life.
But nearly two years after the vasectomy that we viewed as a 'necessary evil' that we'd grow to appreciate in time, we are still not appreciating it. There's something to be said for the certainty that we only ever need a certain size house or a certain size car, and being able to donate or sell baby clothes when someone has outgrown them. But ultimately, we're just feeling like something is missing. We've discussed adoption and vasectomy reversal. I'm not sure which, if either, is right for us. I'm not sure expanding our family is right either. But I guess I'm just hoping to find like-minded people to help sort out my thoughts. My DH will be largely out of the picture for the next six-ish months so if anything, we'll be in the WTT camp for quite a while. But that seems a little premature as well. Anyone else with a 'big' family - or working toward one?

Hi, my name is laroo. I am 28, almost 29, and TTC #1. My husband (he is 25) and I have been together for 2 1/2 years, married for 8 months. We have been NTNP for a little over a year, but have decided to actively start TTC this cycle (I think I'm on CD11; AF is supposed to start tomorrow). I have been charting my cycles with a phone app, checking CM and basically listening to my body during each cycle the past few months. I also started taking folic acid last month, which my gyn said was good for TTC.
After spending my late teens and most of my 20s on various forms of birth control, which wrecked havoc on my health, I am finally yearning and feeling that now is the time to have a little one. I just hope my body is ready for it.
Anyway, I am so glad to have found this site, and hope this will be an incredible journey for DH and I.

Hi! My husband and I have been married for 16 years. We have four children. I've always felt in my heart that we were meant to have five children, but have let my worries about what other people will think if I were to get pregnant again. My husband always mentioned it but I never took him seriously. I realized recently that he has been serious the whole time, so I feel that I should not worry about what others think. This decision is between him, me, and God, and if God's will is for an addition to be made to our family, His will be done. We are waiting a few months to try to conceive because we are planning an overseas trip for the holiday and wouldn't want to complicate a pregnancy with a long airplane trip, which also allows time for me to prepare my body for a pregnancy. If you really would like to have another child, and your husband is also in agreement, then go for it. If you're worried about what others may think, don't let that get in your way, unless they are the ones paying all of your family's expenses, then they may have some say in the matter. Hope this helps clear things for you!

I'm originally from Saint Andrews, Scotland, but I met this wonderful man in my first year in uni and now we live together in Germany! ^-^
