Hi all,

I'm a straight single 40 year old TTC#1 with a gay friend who is my donor. I've been single for a few years now and am not in any rush to get into a relationship - the clock is ticking however so after a long series of talks with my donor we decided to go for it. He is going to be an active father to the baby and we're both really excited. We did our first insemination at home this Monday, again on Tuesday and will be trying again tomorrow and Friday. I had a positive OPK on Sunday. Logistically we could not try before Monday so may have missed our chance. I have only been charting since the day of my last AF am not getting good results from temps (had a cold so temps have been all over the place) So OPK and CM have helped. I have been pregnant before so know it all works, it's just getting the timing right I guess.. am taking pro creation and drinking lots of water!
