So, today I was thinking about what a battle some women go through to have a baby and a Bible verse came to mind. I thought I would share it with you ladies. It's Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This verse really warmed my heart. It made me realize that there is a plan for me and that I need to trust God more. Praying for a BFP to all you ladies!

I love that verse.

I was reading one night the story of Sarah, who was barren. Genesis 16. A part of a verse stuck out to me. " For the Lord has heard of your misery"
I think of that every now and then reminding myself that he really does know what I am going through.

Also in Genesis

Genesis 30
22-23Finally, God remembered Rachel--he answered her prayer by giving her a son. "God has taken away my disgrace," she said. 24"I'll name the boy Joseph, and I'll pray that the LORD will give me another son."

Hope that is a little encouraging.

Thank you for the inspiring bible verses ladies! I keep reminding myself that God has a plan for me and it will happen in His time and not mine.

Just to give you ladies a laugh too, I'm also reminded of a poster that I had hanging in my room for years: "Lord, grant me patience, but please HURRY!" lol That always makes me laugh because it's so true! :haha:

One of my favorite quotes isnt biblical but from a Van Zant song.

"If you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans."

Haha! So true! I think a lot of times it comes down to us deciding we know better and not listening hard enough for where God wants us to go or what he wants us to do. Years ago, I was working for my local AAA's phone center and the section that I was in closed after 911. I thought the world was ending because all my choices seemed to be unhappy ones! But in hindsight, I'd been unhappy where I was for years and I'd stayed because I was "comfortable". God closed that door, but opened another for me that was so much better and made me happy to be going to work again.

I love the verses and quotes, ladies! Keep em coming please :)

I keep a board on pinterest for my inspirational quotes, so I thought I would share some of them. Happy reading! :)

~Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do.

~Whatever you do, hold on to hope! The tiniest thread will twist into an unbreakable cord. Let hope anchor you in the possibility that this is not the end of your story, that change will bring you to peaceful shores.

~God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strenght for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

~God doesn't give us what we can handle, God helps us handle what we are given.

~Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.

~It is hard to wait around for something you know might never happen, but it's even harder to give up when you know its everything you want.

~We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

~If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Wonderful inspiration ladies! Love reading all of them. :)

This is a beautiful thread. I also trust in the Lord.
I read a book called "From Prison to Praise" by Merlin Carothers
It was awesome, it really helped me. The book is full stories about miracles which happen when we start THANKING God for our problems. I thought it was ridiculous at first but God kept confirming it through different episodes and people in my life. So now I thank Him for the infertility sometimes, and when I do I really feel a sense of peace and happiness.
I pray for all the girls inhere.
God bless you,
Amber

That is awesome to keep in mind. :hugs:
One thing that helped me was I sat down one night and wrote down all of the reasons God may have chosen me for infertility.
Some reasons include,
God Chose me for infertility because he knows I am getting to know myself better.
God Chose me for infertility because I will get to know my husband better.
God Chose me for infertility because I will be better able to educate people in this area, in the future.

I have 13 of those reasons. I know I will never know what his reasons truely are but this helps to keep me sane.

I am So Guilty of this. I am one who is always looking to the future Hoping and wanting what is to come.

Love all your quotes by the way:hugs:

This thread is so beautiful. Its exactly why this forum is such a wonderful and precious place
Was feeling low today and then I came across this.
Thank you for all the postings and God bless all you ladies

Dear Maurie
Thank you. I have had the same thoughts. I also think that the reasons can very well be spiritual and we will only know them in heaven. Like, maybe we would forget God if we had all we had hoped for... some people get so wrapped up in their lives that they forget their faith.
I also have learned a lot which might help other people.
I sometimes think that God wants us to help children who do not have parents that can take care of them. In the country where I live there are not enough families for all the foster children which is really a tragedy. But let us face it: if no one struggled with infertility where would all the foster children and/or adopted children have ended who now have a good home.

I love reading all of the posts on here! They have encouraged me so much! I do mostly well, but sometimes I feel angry and all you ladies posted just what I needed. Thank you ladies. God is good and he will take care of all of us.
