A wee update

Sorry I have not updated on Anna much we have been so busy moving etc!

Well, I will just give the most recent news - it is about all my brain is awake enough to remember! Lol

Anna got moved out of ICU and into HDU because she is no longer requiring 1-1 attention of the nurse.
Only really been destating occasionally while lying on her back and when off the cPAP.
She was weighed yesterday, and is now 3lb 1oz!!!!
She as been put onto 2hourly feeds of 19ml!
Anna loves to sleep with her soother and holds it with her left hand

Before her move to HDU she had only a break of 4hrs out of a whole day off the cPAP

But of course in HDU they like to take a step backwards to see for themselves what she is like.

Then she had her immunisations and was soo tired so wasn't off the cpap atall for almost a whole day.

But when I called up today, the nurse say she moved Anna's feeding tube to her nose!!

PLEASE keep you fingers crossed so tight they dont have to take the tube back out to go back on the cPAP

I don't think I can take much more of her been so far away this has been the longest 8 weeks of my life she will be 9 weeks on saturday! The last few weeks we have been so busy with moving etc and people that could normally give a lift we have only seen her at the weekends
But as soon as she is good and stable off the cpap she can move to the hospital near us and I can get a bus and see her alot more.

Me and OH both got cuddles last weekend, 3 weeks since my first cuddle. The difference was amaxing tho she looks tiiiiny compare to OH Lol

She is doing brilliantly to be off cpap. Fingers crossed you get moved to your local hospital soon.

Aww gorgeous pictures! Chloe had that dummy too! Jaycee had the small nuk one cos she was smaller than her sister..
Its hard with them being so far away isnt it? Chloe and Jaycee were transferred to a hospital 70 odd miles from me! Its heartbreaking.
Hope all is ok though as you sound so tired! Moving and having a baby far away cant be helping matters! Make sure you get your rest too!
Hope Anna starts progressing so she can move to a hospital near you!
