Hi ladies, i just wanted to give you some advice.

This Monday i was lucky enough to get my :bfp:

Monday 2 days before af due Good positive on First response test.

Tuesday did amazon (same as the ebay ones) 10miu test (you know the little strip ones) and was nevastated to see :bfn: then i waited 2 hours and did another 1st resonse test and got a good strong positive better than the day before!

Yesterday morning another what could have been mistaken for a negative test (the amazon strip kind)

This morning Pregnant on my clearblue digital.

Basically i think the amazon, ebay tests are really misleading as they claim to be 10miu (just about the most sensitive tests you can get) when they clearly are not!

So...dont trust the cheap tests. I would go for a better one every time.

Good luck ladies :) xx

I think it depends where you get the cheap tests from... I got some from ebay before and I got a bfp at 10dpo... Also, the tests from the pound shop are pretty accurate too.

But thanks for the warning ^^

XxX

i think with IC's you need to be careful - but they are great for people who test alot...

I got both my BFP on internet cheepies - one at 12 DPO... and one at 10DPO - both times the line was clearly a line - and was a correct identification.... I have never had the 'evaps' others get - but similarly I have been peering at a strip and holidng it against lights and all sorts...

Now concidering I tested from 8dpo - if i'd been using FRER i would have spent a fortune... that siad I didint rely on my IC's to get much darker... as they stayed light for quite along time!! (I've used about 40 IC's in my time - one month I tested over and over only to get AF... but I'm a POAS control freek - i'm only glad I didnt get dragged into ovulation strips too :) )

I think the thing is with IC's they are not all created equal... and if you are a worrier you can drive yourself crazy!

Glad you got your BFP anyway!
