Hi girls
Found out at 10w baby stopped growing at 7.5w. I've had a previous MMC and had a d&c. Also had a "natural miscarriage". I'm so terrified of the tablets but have already taken the first one that primes the body and have to take the big ones that start contraction and bleeding in an hour.

All the accounts I've read are awful. Pretty scared 😥

Hope you are as ok as can be. I have had two natural miscarriages (with the pills), one at 9&4 (with baby measuring 8&4). There was a lot of blood for the first day, then nothing and then another heavy bleed with a lot of clots two weeks later. It wasn't painful at all (apart from a couple of period type cramps, but not bad).

Big hugs

My experience with cytotec wasn't bad at all but norco helped a ton. Take care and so sorry for your losses <3

Hi girls. Thanks for your replies.

I hope any other people worried about it read this.

I was petrified after reading endless nightmarish accounts.

It was *fine*. Obviously v sad etc. but pain was fine with medication and was like a heavy period with some clots. So many accounts seem so much more severe but the worst of mine wss over in a couple of hours and it was surprisingly fine.

Thank you for sharing. I've just started bleeding. No tablet. Do you think the pain will be similar for me then, like a bad period? I am scared.

Jen my pain was worse when I went too long between norco doses. My ob said that if I chose to wait to miscarry naturally the pain would be like labor. I've read nmc stories where it's just like a bad period, and others where it's worse. When I was waiting for the norco to kick in again hot tea helped (I rested the mug on my tummy like a heating pad). Take care, I'm so sorry you're going through this, and keep some painkillers nearby in case xxx.

I felt exactly the same. All the googling i had done said it was horrific and traumatic and worse than labour. I was sooo scared and we are already going through so much pain emotionally anyway it seemad so cruel.
My baby was 14 weeks and i heard "the further along you are the more painful".
No thank you! I did not want that i didn't want any of it. I wanted it to not happen and it all to be a big mistake.

I did ask for surgery as i was so not emotionally ready and the hospital were really good about it. But in the end when i was due to go i had the baby naturally. It happened so quick and it wasn't as bad as labour and also doing it that way i got to see my baby. I wouldn't with surgery

I had a miscarriage last year, the bleeding and cramping went on for 3 weeks at home but my body never completed it so I did the pills. When I took my first dose of pills, I was prepared for the worst cramps ever and I only had a little nausea and dizziness, same thing with the second dose of pills for me. The results of the pills vary a lot between people.

Londongirl- glad to hear that the worst of it seems to be over.
