accuclear tests good or bad?

Since everyone said I should try to test w/ pink dye tests, I went and bought a 2-pack of accuclear and a 2-pack of Answer brand HPTs tonight. I'm saving the Answer for FMU but I think I got a veryyyy faint pink line w/ the accuclear at about 5 min. But I've never used them before so are they prone for evaps?
