.......ok, so I told myself I wouldn't post on b&b again until i finally got my magical bfp, but this is driving me slightly insane right now and I would really appreciate some input

I'm 6dpo and although this is technically our 44th month of ttc on and off, its actaully more like our first as its the first time we have really gone for it and done all we possibly can at the right times

Well, I don't have any huge symptoms and the wait is driving me mad and really making me quite paranoid and upset. I want this so much and know I shouldn't be over analysing and symptom spotting, as I can't bear the disappointment if it were to be nothing, but I just can't help it

I'm worried that everyone seems to mention having an increase of cm and yet I haven't got this at all  my breasts aren't particularly tender, but I do have cramps in my ovaries, but alas this is nothing to go by as I get this most months inbetween ovulation and my period :dohh: I've had pulling/sharp twinges near my belly button on and off and haven't had that before but I don't want to get my hopes up...,

Sorry, back to the point of me posting  did any of you lovely ladies have aches in your inner thighs and buttocks before you got your bfp? I've woken up this morning feeling like I've done a mega workout with a thigh press

I've been looking it all up online but can't find any answers and of course the good old web brings up things that it "could" be that are very very scary and I am choosing to ignore :growlmad:

I'm complex when it comes to my health but I won't go into it all as I don't want to put anyone off answering

I took soy isoflavones this cycle and last (but last cycle we didn't get chance to ttc) so hoping it has helped

Thanks for any input and hope you are all well and enjoying your bumps :flower:

I got pains in my leg, normally in bed. Combined with cramping, that's about it!

It was a bit like nerve pain

Hi

I got pain in my buttocks and thighs apparently its due to your body preparing itself to carry the baby.. ill be keeping my fingers crossed for you x x x

I also had really bad cramps in my left ovary area but this has now been put down to having endometriosis which I've had 3 surgeries for.

Thanks so much to both of you :flower: did you have any other symptoms at all? I keep poking my boobs so hard to see if they hurt that i'm making them hurt  And I keep feeling such immense disapointment when i go to the loo and see no cm (sorry tmi.)

Oh Cheeziepie, as much as I don't want to get my hopes up you have really made me smile :hugs:I had 2 ops for endo about 6 years ago too. I've got other very complex issues too, but nothing to do with fertility. I want this baby so much, it's been a very long wait but this 2 week wait feels longer than the last 44 months of ttc :dohh: I'm doing my best to ensure I'm all ok and I know me and baby will be fine :hugs:

Thanks again and wishing you both healthy and happy pregnancies :flower:

I am still getting leg aches - almost like a wave of pain goes from the base of my spine down my thighs - weird!!!

Hey,

I had no other apart from sickness when i was 5weeks but i went to hosp with the pain and got an early scan to see the little one and then another 2 weeks later to see the HB. They said i'll probably have pain throughout due to the endo just happy we finally know its growing in there.

Maybe you could go to the epu at the local hospital like i did as u have a history of endo ?? such a relief:)

Happy to be your bump buddy if you would like?

Cheeziepie - I'm only 6dpo so it's way too early to test yet, but as soon as I get that magical bfp I will be straight to the docs (even though I really don't like them ) to get it all confirmed and ensure everything is fine. My gp actually told my dh that I shouldn't get pregnant so he won't be too pleased, but stuff him, I will prove him and the other delightful ones I've come across wrong :winkwink:

Would love to be your bump buddie - I trully hope I can be :flower:

As for pains due to endo - hmmm, I'm unsure of this as I've always thought that the endo would go once pregnant as it can't survive without eostrogen and once pregnant you're producing progesterone  I had really sharp pains in my ovary a few months ago and went for a scan, but it turned out to be wind as I get quite bloated and gassy.... I really hope that you are pain free for the remainder of your pregnancy and life - sending you positive vibes and I highly recommend the book thats my profile picture, it has a mention about endo in there and suprisingly it also has Mg (one of the things i'm also overcoming.)

Good to hear you didn't have any other symptoms - my lack of them is perhaps ok after all :flower:

They said that endo can make your insides move around and stick to things ie my bowel could be stuck to my tummy as that can happen after laperoscopies and its not until your womb starts to get bigger and push things around you get the pain of your organs which have gone into a new place getting moved again. It's only the doctor who specializes in fetal medicine that told me the endo can do all sorts of things whilst your pregnant i guess he sees everything! Got to say the docs and nurses at the EPU are outstanding when it comes to endo never had so much information.

I also thought I'd be pain free but was also told last April i would never have children due to 2 blocked Fallopian tubes so i'm guessing the docs can be wrong quite often.

Very rude of your doc to tell your DH you shouldnt have kids :( big hugs on that one and good luck with the waiting which can't be easy!!

Yes I've heard the horror stories of things sticking to other things to, but I don't like to think about it and just try to stay positive that all is ok :flower: I had it mildly when it was found and then had a further op only 2 months later to laser it, but I'm aware that they can never get it all so to speak...

If they found it sticking you together then maybe that is the pain you have experienced, but I sincerely hope that it goes away

I have been getting pelvic pain that feels like pressure build up which then inpinges on my bladder (i have a bladder disease as well) and it had got to the point whrere i would get it for around 2 weeks out of every 5, with my cycle length being around 35. I trully hope that if that was due ot endo, that it will disappear once pregnant and then I will have to have a good long think about what to do post birth in respect of the pill etc... I'd be mortified if I were to get the same pain during pregnancy as it keeps me awake and the only way I can get a little sleep through it, is to use a heatpad and I can't do that when pregnant... It's something that has concerned me ever since it started up as the heatpads get very hot.

I love hearing of people that have defied what the docs said - my sister was told it was unlikely she would have children as her periods didn't start until she was 16 and have been very irregular ever since, yet there she is with not one but 3 beautiful children!!! I've also proved them wrong with many other things :happydance:

Thanks again for your replies :flower:

I've been stupidly looking up buttock and thigh aches on the web and find very conflicting things - I'm trying to stay positive that its all good and is a lovely early pregnancy sign but I don't have any implantation bleeding etc.......

Anyone else have the aches?? I'm only 6 dpo but woke up with this weird and wonderful symptom this morning - I've now found that if I press my buttocks it feels as though they are bruised  and my thighs ache even more so now that they ache to walk around  It really does feel like I have spent hours on a thigh press at the gym  Anyone experience this prior to getting their bfp???

I've got pelvic cramps but this is normal for me to get before my period is due for over a week :dohh: that said, it does feel slightly different but that could be in my head  I'm starting to get a little concerned about the pain I described above (in reply to cheeziepie) as I can feel it slightly around my bladder

Any input/experiences greatly appreciated and thanks for those i've had so far :flower:

:hi: my 30 day cycle: cd 22 I started having significant aches in my lower back (like I do before af) this ache also spread around to my hips, butt, and legs. By cd25 I felt like I had been working out really hard on my lower body (I hadn't at all). Cd 26 I was so achy I knew something was up as af wasn't due for several days. Got a BFP that afternoon!
I only had very minor other symptoms like my bbs a little more tender in the evenings.

Don't get your hopes up too high (still trying to keep mine level) but think positive!! Good luck!

Thanks babylove719 :flower:

Trying so hard not to get my hopes up, but admit I do have a pang of "what if" and "just maybe", as I've never had these aches before. I thought I wouldn't get so uptight and pondering anymore, afterall this our 44mth of ttc, but it really does feel like our first ever real chance after all we have done this time

Concerned I have the pressure pain in my pelvis that I get that keeps me awake at night and can only get to sleep by applying heat  I really hope and pray that it disappears asap and I'm all good

Thanks again and wishing you a healthy and happy 8 months :flower:
