Hi,
I my brother and sister in law were trying to concieve for 8 years.
My sister in law had very bad PCOS. She had never had a natural period or ovulated in her life.
They had various treatments on the NHS including stimultaion treatment, 2 failed IVF treatments and lots of hormone treatments.
After trying for so long they tried acupuncture as a last resort.
The acupuncure nurse told them she could stimulate regular periods and ovulation naturally if they gave it a chance.
They went ahead with the acupuncture but not feeling confident they started the adoption process.
The acupuncture nurse was right, she started periods and fell pregnant on her second ovulation.
They are now expecting a baby girl in 11 weeks and are naming her after the acupuncture nurse who has truly been a blessing to them.
After 8 years of trying it is really amazing.
It's much cheaper than any other fertility treatments.
I hope this story is of use to somebody struggling to concieve.

aw that is a lovely story. I want to try accupunture aswell. I have PCOS and like your sister in law, I dont ovulate. I just need to get some money first and hope that it works for me like it did with your sister in law. Thanks for sharing x x x

Thanks for sharing your story.

I'm also having acupunture to support IVF, apparently it can help with that too. I'll keep you posted on whether it works!

I think it is around £40 a sesion on average. Diddydons you should definately give it a go. My sister in law said she could feel her menstrual cycle start as soon as she began the acupuncture for the first time in her life. Mrs G keep me posted and good luck to you. xx
