Acupuncture to induce labour

Anyone try it? Did it work for you? Where do they stick the needles?

I went for acupuncture to prepare my body for labour yesterday. The acupuncturist said he won't induce without confirmation from a Dr or midwife that it's okay to go ahead so I'll be going back Tuesday if I haven't gone naturally by then. My friend did it and had her baby the next day.

I'm due sunday and I'm going for a session on Thursday so I hope it works! My friend had a session and went into labour the next day, I hope I'm as lucky! X

I had it and went into labour the next day! I'll definitely do it again! X

I went in on Wednesday evening for this and still no baby. I don't think it really did anything. In terms of where the needles go, she put a couple in my low back, ankles, near my collarbone, and hands. Hope it works better for you!

Update: I got it done on Sunday and Monday...went into labour Tuesday so yes it worked! And she put the needles in my ankles, hands and shoulders.

Yay! So happy for you. Mine obviously didn't work. Had it Thursday and still pregnant.... Due date today and fed up. Congrats to you though X
