I got pregnant on 3rd round of clomid (didn't ovulate after coming off bcp, periods always been very long and erratic before them but somehow we managed to conceive my DS, although I was a lot younger then!). Anyway, the pregnancy (twins) sadly ended in missed miscarriage which has broken my heart. I had to have a D&C and have been advised that we can start to try again when we're ready, although another GP told me it's best to wait one cycle.
My problem is I don't think AF will come as I don't really ovulate on my own, before the clomid it had been 80odd days so the fertility specialist prescribed norethisterone for 10days to induce AF so I could take the clomid. My question is, as long as I test and get a bfn can I take norethisterone to induce AF and then restart my clomid? I really don't want to have to wait 80 odd days feel like time is ticking and there's no point waiting for AF if she is never going to arrive. Or is it too soon to be doing this? Would a week of bcp be the same as the norethisterone (think it's similar to provera)? Please please advise I am soooo confused and desperate to at least have a chance of trying again. x
