advice: how to move baby from co-sleeping to a crib

okay so mister man is approaching 3 months and i think its time to move him from my bed to a crib in my room.how do i do this well?

i have both a pack n play and a real crib. he has never liked the pack n play.
right now i nurse him to sleep lights off and the snuggle him next to me, he even sleeps with my arm as a pillow.

how will i get him to sleep, should i try nurse and then move him once asleep?
what if he wakes?

Please can i have advice from moms who have co slept? what age and how did u move them?

I started with putting Bella in her crib for her naps. Then at 3 months I started putting her in bed at 7:00 when I put her to bed. Then when she woke to eat at 11:30 I would bring her in with us. After about a week of that, at 11:30, I put her back in her own bed, then at the next waking and so on. Now she comes into bed at 3:00, if she wakes then, if not, it's at 6:30 when she wakes up.
