Advice please..

Me & my other halfs really confused, we got preg first time - week after we met/didnt use anything in the heat of the moment lol & got preg, but had a mc. Now we've been trying for 15month since then & we havent had 1 single bfp & we've tried everything. but his sperm test show's he has:
4% Rapid, 14% Sluggish - Non progressive 34%, Immotile 48% & a count of 29,00,00/ml.
when we met year & half ago, he was drinking like 10 - 15 cans a day & smoking alot, but he quit smoking a month after we met & he's cut down the drink to maybe 8 - 10 cans a week or less. he's having showers now instead of baths & has just started taking selenium with zinc.
Ive too do my 21 bloods again as it was 2 early last month but i charted my temps last month & according to FF i ovulated. ..
we find it strange that it happend the very first time but nothing since lol..

Is there anything else we can do? or is it now just a case of wait and see?

I know this will be absolutely no help to you hun but I think it is just one of those things. There are girls on here who have got pg before or maybe oh has children but now they are having no luck.

I would say keep temping for a few months and get a really clear idea of your cycles, keep him on a healthy diet, some girls say that the Wellman vits are really good. If you can, get to cut back as much as poss on the drink.

Thanks We're gonna give the vits a good 6 months & then do another test to see if they've helped any, if im not preg by then lol.

Hi Jem. It's one of those things. We had our result yesterday and DH came at 22mil, 44motility and .... 4% morphology!!! He has 2 kids...not even trying and his previous test was OK (borderline) he had the 1sttest (the OK one) after 1.5 days of abstinence and the second was after 2.5 days! Weird. he's been taking Zinc, vit c and L-arginine for over 2months now..so we'll wait for Ovulation this month and I'll send him to do a private test. I've read that NHS doesn't always test them on time sometimes. It's good men are not born with their swimmers and things can be done to improve their quality! Is this his first test? Maybe its just an off day and things aren't as sbad as they look... Good luck Jem.

Thanks, he did it on the 4th day of abstinence as the gp said to not do anything for 4 3-4 days before the test :S i supose atleast we know now & can try an improve things good luck too.
